Hospital Trauma

Chapter 1-Trauma

Meredith and Derek had just arrived at Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital. They made their way to the attendings lounge to get ready for work. They walked in to find the supposed broken up Christina and Owen kissing. Christina quickly shot up from the couch saying, "Good morning lovebirds." Meredith replied, "Oh shut up." Christina walked out of the lounge followed by Meredith. Derek walked over to a very embarrassed Owen. "What's the deal man?" Derek asked. "I don't know, I think I still love her but... She's moved on." Owen sadly replied while getting up to get some coffee. As Owen poured coffee for both him and Derek their pagers went off. Derek and Owen looked at each other and ran... Meanwhile, Meredith was trying to talk to Christina about what she had just witnessed. "Meredith I don't wanna talk about it. I think I'm over him one minute and the next I'm not... I can't handle it all." Meredith tried comforting 'her person' "Christina it will be okay." "Why are you so perky this morning Meredith." "What do you mean, I'm always perky" "Meredith, I know you" Meredith was about to pull Christina into an on call room to talk when they were swarmed with doctors, nurses and EMT's. Just then their pagers sounded.
