Chapter 4-- The Aftermath

Castle tried to grab his true love but he couldn't. He had been thrown down the stairs and went flying across the room. "Kate! Honey, where are you!"

Little did Castle know the floor had caved in and she dropped 2 floors...

Beckett woke up 5 minutes later in a panic. She couldn't breathe. She tried to move. To get anywhere away from the fire next to her but she couldn't move. Kate slowly started to shut down. Her lungs were smoke infested, her head was gushing blood and all she could think about was Castle.

Castle was in a panic there was no answer from Kate. He started screaming for her but still, nothing. As Castle sat there he wondered where Mother, Alexis and all their friends were at. Were they okay?

Outside the building paramedics and cops were waiting for the fire Marshall to get his people into the building and look for survivors. As the firefighters entered the building everything collapsed.

"Agggg HELP" was all Castle could here.
