Snowy Showdown

"Well well well..." Chat Blanc jumped down from the roof top and landed in front of Nino, causing the boy to stop on his tracks. "If it isn't the dorkasaurus."

"Adrien... man you scared me," Nino laughed nervously, trying to hide how scared he really was. It wasn't Adrien's fault he was like this, it was his own. Nino decided that it was time to face the music and take responsibility for his actions.

"The akuma it's in his scarf." Plagg whispered to the boy. He then swiftly ducted into Nino's jacket, hiding in his pocket from Chat's piercing yellow eyes.

"Hey there buddy," Nino said shyly to the cat villain. Chat started to slowly walk forward. "That's a cool scarf. It reminds me of the one your old man got ya." Nino said while backing up away from Chat's advances. "Burrr.... man it's chilly you mind if I borrow your scarf? Come on help a bro out."

Chat began to growl, the vibration from his throat getting louder with every step. "Please... like you said we aren't friends, so why would I have any obligation to help you?" He suddenly lunged at Nino, claws out stretched ready to destroy what ever he touched. Just then Ladybug's yo-yo hit his side, sending him flying into a pile of snow.

Marinette was finishing the final touches on a dress that she was making for Alya's birthday. She made it to match the shirt that she made Nino for his birthday the other day. Marinette hoped that her best friend would appreciate her attempts at shipping, but it would only work if she could get both Alya and Nino to wear their outfits on the same day.

Speaking of the DJ, Nino's flight to Morocco was scheduled for later today. Alya said that she would meet him at the airport to see him off.

There was a scream from out side. Marinette ran to the window to see Nino running by, a black cat thing was riding on his shoulder. She then saw a boy in a white cat suit jump down. Nino looked panicked.

"I'm sensing an akuma," Tikki said, munching a chocolate chip cookie.

"And I'm seeing one... Tikki, SPOTS ON!!!" Brilliant pink, white and red sparkles covered Marinette, leaving behind the spotted heroine. Ladybug ran up the ladder to her bed and jumped out of the skylight, landing on the balcony.

"Wait... is that Chat Noir!?!" She turned around just in time to see the boy in white leap at Nino, claws covered in black destructive magic.

"Noooo!" She yelled, quickly taking her yo-yo and swinging it to intercept the cat. The ladybug yo-yo hit him in the side, sending him flying into a pile of snow on the other side of the street.

Ladybug swung down to the street next to Nino. "Are you all right?"

"Yeah I'm fine... but Chat Noir's been akumatized!" Nino cried out, clearly worried about the hero.

"So I was right... oh Chat how could you let your self be taken over like that?" Ladybug saw the cat in white as he stood back up, brushing snow off of his shoulder. "Where is his akuma?"

"It's in the scarf." Nino said, running to the safety of the bakery. Once he was inside Ladybug returned her attention to Chat Blanc. And not a moment too soon. Ladybug back flipped away as Chat's staff hit the sidewalk where she once was, smashing the concrete. She continued to dodge his attacks as he swung his staff with expertise. Ladybug never saw her partner this focused or serious in a fight. He was crazy determined to kill her, and could easily if she made even one mistake while dodging. He was relentless, not giving her a second to catch her breath. The fought like this for several minutes.

Nino looked at the fight from the safety of the bakery. Several other costumers joined him huddled by the shop's window with phones pulled out, recording the action. Nino started texting Alya about the situation and that Adrien was akumatized. She replied back saying that we was getting on the first taxi she could from the airport. He face palmed, of course that girl wanted to record the fight too for her blog, not once was she worried for Adrien's well being.

"LUCKY CHARM!!!" Hearing Ladybug activate her power returned his focus on the fight.

The spotted heroine was finally able to put enough distance between her and the cat to call upon her power. A red and black feather flew down into her hand. Ladybug suddenly remembered that Chat was allergic to feathers and crafted a plan in her head to snatch his scarf.

"Here kitty kitty kitty!" She taunted him, which only made him more furrious. As soon as his head came close enough she tickled his nose with the feather. Chat Blanc stopped and sneezed. Ladybug took the opportunity to go on the offensive. Now she was the one attacking while he dodged. His constant sneezing prevented him from dodging with as much accuracy as Ladybug had done before. She was able to land many hits on him, but non of them had the amount of power that his attacks did.

After a few minutes, Chat Blanc was finally able to snatch the Lucky Charm out of LB's hand. He quickly stuffed it in his pocket in order to prevent her from getting it back. Now that his allergies were back under control, he was able to go back on the offensive. Ladybug's earrings beeped, now was his chance to take her miraculous.

"CATACLYSM!!!"
