Chat tore his eyes away from Plagg's, not wanting the kwami to see him cry.
*Plagg.... I'm sorry... I've been such a fool to think that Hawk Moth's power could change a thing... I'm the one who needs to change, this is my fight against my father and for the longest time I thought it was mine along and yet...*
Chat Blanc looked back at his friend, a smile slowly crept up his tear stained face.
"Plagg.... claws out." He whispered, barely able to get the words out as the akuma tried to suppress his call for help. Plagg's tiny body flew into Chat's ring. Green electric light started to dance around and covered the boy as the white leather was replaced with the familiar black that Adrien knew and loved. Once Chat Noir was back the lightening surrounded the scarf causing black and purple smoke to drift out of it as a purple butterfly was pushed out by the miraculous magic. What was left was a blue scarf. Chat Noir looked back at Ladybug, who was still out cold.
*Oh no!* he thought, still to exhausted to talk, *If Ladybug isn't awake to devilize the akuma then it will multiply.* He shook his lady gently but she wasn't getting up. *There's no time.* Chat ran over and picked up his staff. He would have to contain it some how, before it could get away. Then something in his head clicked.
Deep down he realized that he didn't need Ladybug so save him all the time, it was his turn to save himself. He twirled his staff around with both hands, the end of it suddenly surrounded with a ball of green light. He swung with what little strength he had left, all of his muscles still aching from the fight earlier. As soon as the ball of light hit the akuma, it drained the akuma of it's dark magic, purifying the little bug.
Ladybug opened her eyes to see the little white butterfly fly away. At first she thought it was a snowflake falling in reverse but as soon as she saw the black clad hero she knew it wasn't. Her earrings began to beep again. Chat walked over with the lucky charm that he had taken earlier and placed it in her hand. She threw the little feather up into the air as hard as she could.
"M-mm-Miraculous L-ladybug!" She barely was able to force the words out, breathing heavily and dizzy from blood loss. In a flash of pink, thousands of little ladybugs flew in all directions, fixing the damage done and healing all those who were hurt. Chat offered his had and she took it. With one swift movement she was on her feet again, good as new.
"I'm sorry Ladybug..." Chat whispered, sorrow filling his eyes. His lady but a gentle hand on his face and gave him a reassuring smile. He pulled her into a hug, she welcomed the warm embrace from her partner. He sobbed softly, apologizing over and over. Her earrings beeped again and she gentle pulled away from him.
"We can talk about this more later but for now I gotta get out of here." She kissed his cheek "Just remember that non of this was your fault... so don't go beating yourself up about it ok." She turned to leave "I'm glad your save." And with that she was gone. Chat stood there staring as she disappeared over the roof tops. His ring beeped again reminding him that he needed to leave as well.
