"Silas!"
Sybil woke with such a start, her breathing stayed uneven for several minutes before she could fully gather herself. Klaus Mikaelson was sitting near where she laid in bed, watching. With a small groan, she lifted herself up and swung her feet onto the side of the bed.
"Bad dream, little bird?"
Him referring to her as little bird caused her to make a face; she got to her feet. "What happened?"
"Well, I can only assume Silas had something to do with your sudden sleep in the middle of everything." Klaus paused and looked as if there was something he wanted to say or do. "Sybil..."
"What?" Suddenly he engulfed her in his warm embrace; his hands found both the back of her head and her waist and gripped tightly. He seemed as if she'd disappear at any moment. "Niklaus."
"I refuse to feel that helpless." He whispered in her hair.
She pulled away. "Where's Rebekah?"
"I don't know, probably still on that island or something."
"Oh, god." Sybil gasped and pulled out her phone. "The last thing I remember is someone stabbing Bonnie! I have to find out if she's ok."
"Sybil!" She relished, for a moment, in the fact that a voice that sounded like her fathers was filled with worry.
"I'm fine, Stefan." She assured. There was an uneasy feeling in the air. "What's happened?"
"Jeremy is dead."
Sybil gasped. "No... Elena?"
"In denial." He paused, unsure of how to put it. Or not wanted to say it at all. "I-I don't think she'll survive this."
Looking at Klaus, she set her eyes hard. "I'm on my way." She hung up and grabbed her bag, then headed for the door. Before she could leave, Klaus grabbed her arm and prevented her from stepping any further. "What?"
"Stay with me tonight, little bird." His knuckles stroked her cheek gently.
Sybil closed her eyes enjoying the feeling. She'd forgotten the lovely feelings that came with being near Klaus. The butterflies, the warmth in her veins. It was as if the world could just melt away. You have to go, Sybil. With a reluctant sigh, she opened her eyes. "I'll be back. I promise."
"I'll hold you to that."
She disappeared leaving Klaus to himself.

Bonnie was telling her friends about the type of magic that could bring everyone back; the magic that could remove the veil that separated the living from the dead. What she was wanting to do was impossible. And even if she could do it Sybil knew the repercussions of doing so. It's exactly what her father wanted.
Sybil stood in the back, the rest unaware of her presence until Bonnie said one too many things about her plan. "It's called an Expression triangle. I need to complete it for Silas."
Matt furrowed her brow. "What?"
"It's called sacrificial magic." Sybil said, speaking in a tone that sounded much more uncaring than how she actually felt. "And sacrificial magic is the worst kind; it require more than it offers."
"Bonnie, you can't kill 12 people." Matt said, incredulous. Sybil could tell he was getting more tired of the supernatural, as the days went by. That would certainly be his downfall.
Bonnie held up her hands, hopeful. "I know it sounds crazy, but it's the only way to get enough power."
"To do what?" Caroline asked.
