Sybil tried to convinced Klaus that he was acting insane. He kept thinking there was something in his back, causing him to scratch feverishly at it.

He suddenly got up and yelled out as he smashed his shoulder against the wall, dislocating it. He meant to try and reach the spot better. He roared out in pain, clenching his teeth. "Ahh!!"

"Klaus!" Sybil grabbed his and pushed it back into place, then pinched the bridge of her nose. "God, dad, why do you have to be such a pest. Listen, I'm going to get you some water, blood, something. I'll be back."

Truth was, Silas was messing with him. Nothing but a mind trick. She left him and went to the fridge. It was basically empty except for a few blood bags and, oddly enough, a few bottles of champagne. She grabbed a blood bag and made her way back to Klaus.

When she was at the corner she saw her father, in the form of her own self. Why was he here?

"Klaus, we need to talk." Silas said, mimicking his daughter's voice perfectly. "Are you still scratching at that thing?"

"Silas, your father, attacked me." He said, knowing that she already knew. She was there. "He stabbed me with the white oak stake. Do you know what a single piece can do?"

"It could kill you." Silas answered. "But you won't die. You still owe me an apology for sleeping with that dog."

"I'm sorry," He replied, laughing humorously. "There I said it. Just in case."

Silas reached down to stroke his face. Then, his voice was no longer the voice of his daughter. Well, it was but it was no longer the sweet tortured girl Klaus came to love. "Hey. As much as I would love to watch you die, you still haven't found me that cure."

"Silas!"

Sybil's face smiled, darkly. "That's right. Last night I looked like Shane, today I look like my own daughter, and tomorrow-who knows?"

"Show me your real face." Klaus ordered, angrily. But he was scared, Sybil could see that.

"Now why would I do that when I can look like whomever I want you to see?" He approached the original, causing him to shudder in fear. "Resist me all you want, Klaus, but until you bring me the cure I will bring you nothing but misery." He disappeared, only to reappear behind his little girl. He pressed his finger to his lips and led her out the back to where he sat her down to talk.

Sybil spoke first. "Tell me again why you want the cure?"

"My dear, sweet, daughter. You already know. Bonnie brings down the veil, I take the cure, you take it from my blood, we die. Then, we can be with your mother, forever."

"I don't want to die." She said slowly. "I'm not taking the cure. I'm not dying."

His hands went to her cheeks where he squeezed tightly and glared. "You will obey be, Sybil. Your mother will want us to be a family again."

"We haven't been a family for two thousand years!" She fired back, angrily. "There's no going back."

"It's that low life vampire isn't it? Stefan too?" He scoffed and shook his head. "You think they really like you? Love you? You're a freak to them. You don't have friends. You have family. Let's see... there's me, then your mother. That's it. You belong with us."

"You think I don't love you? I do. I do. But this is my life now. I choose to live."

"You won't really die. The veil will be dropped so we'll stay here, forever." He tried persuading her with a soothing father voice. "I want us to be together, forever."

Sybil folded her arms across her chest and shook her head. "No. I'm sorry. I'm not..."

"Sybil." Silas' voice was filled with a sort of pleading. He held her face in his hands and searched her eyes, rather than her mind. "Remember what your mother used to say? Family is forever. We are forever."

She chuckled dryly. "Literally. Dad, I'm going to help my friends. Immortal or not I'd still help them." Then she got to her feet and left. Partially sad. She wanted to be with him. Without dying. Repairing their relationship would be tough but possible.

Inside Klaus was hunched over, on his knees. His breath was heavy and he looked defeated.

Sybil stepped close to him. "Klaus?"

In a gruff voice, he replied, "Go away." He lifted a single hand to shielded his face.

"Niklaus, it's me, Sybil." She cooed gently, but when she reached out for him he flinched.

"I need more time." Klaus suddenly roared, "Stop hounding me!"

"Hound." She repeated, "Like the one you did? I haven't forgiven you yet. But I love you, and I'm not letting my dad stop me from feeling that away."

Klaus's eyes widened. "Sybil. Is it really you?"

"Yes." Then, Sybil tilted her head and dove into his mind. "I'm going to try something." She placed her hands in his head and tried removing Silas.

Get out.

Images of gory scenes from every decade flashed before her. Feelings of self loathing and other things she probably shouldn't be feeling overtook her. Memories of killing and ripping apart innocent people make her stomaching churn in an odd human way. This was who he was. Focus. Silas dug himself deep in Klaus' mind so she had to kick him out with her own power.

It took half an hour but she did it.

Klaus pulls away and looked at her, the fear left his eyes and he seemed better. His hands cupped her cheeks and he smiled. "Thank you."

Sybil rather keep to herself the things she saw. "You're welcome. Grow some amaranth. Try and keep him out of your head."

"But won't that affect you?"

"I'll keep my distance for now. Just... do it. I'm gonna go find my dad again, just to see what he's up to." She smiled weakly and started walking away. "This time I promise I'll be back.
