Mark's POV
As his carriage pulled away into the night, I stared at the darkness past the castle gate wondering were it is of to. My fiance came outside "Shall we go back in and dance together?" she asked me.
"No thank you, I feel quite tired" I say, quickly walking inside. On my way to my room my mother stops me. "How dare you leave your fiance like that all night. You disgraced our family, for what reason? To dance with a green haired young man!" she says. "Mother, please quiet down. Everyone in the castle wil hear are conversation." She gives me a stern look and ignores my comment. "I don't think you're ready to rule yet. If you can't even dance with your fiance at a ball in honor of you engagement, you can't possibly be king." "Mother, please.." she cuts me off "Now off to bed, we have early tea in the morning. With your fiance." and then she walks away.
I lay in my bed ask the same questions over and over. Why do I have to marry her? Does she want to marry me? Maybe she is being forced into marriage like me?
--Time Skip--
It is past noon and there are rumors going around town. The man I danced with last night was some soft of mystery prince. He came to the kingdom in search of a bride and ended up dancing the whole night away. When he realised the time he rushed home.
Of course I don't believe the rumor, because we met in the forest. He was in rags, singing to the animals. No prince would wear or do such things. I know he lives somewhere in the kingdom and I'm planning to find him. I even have a reward for if he is found.
Where are you, my mystery prince?
