Mark's POV
My name is Mark. I'm a prince and I live the castle. My mother is the queen. My father is dead. I enjoy horse back riding and walks around outside when the weather is nice. I love helping people in need and one day I hope I rule the kingdom, making it a wonderful place to be.
I am going to wed a princess of my mother's choice. I have never met her, I don't even know her name. Since it will make my mother happy I will, I have no choice anyway. She won't let rule if I don't. My mother can be very controlling, but I know she loves me and is trying to do the best for me.
You would think I have it easy, but I don't. I have to work hard to please my mother. I have mastered the art of sword fighting and I hunt with my guards in the forest outside of town when I finish my studies. I haven't been hunting in awhile, in fact I kinda miss it. I love getting out of the castle, being free and in charge. I can do whatever I please.
I'm going to meet the princess a few weeks, so I'm hosting a grand ball in her honor. I'm also inviting everyone in the kingdom. My mother has never opened up the castle to the public. In doing so I hope to create a atmostphere were everyone is looked at a equal. The invitations will be sent very soon and every house hold will recive one.
