Brooklyn's POV:
In all honesty, she made me nervous! She was so PRETTY, but it's like she didn't notice! I mean, her eyes! They were the prettiest shade of brown! And her hair was so pale blonde, it was almost white! She was GORGEOUS! It was all I could do not to drool!
We sat there talking when Caleb came over.
Caleb had known me ever since the day this camp began. We were great friends and got along really well!
He saw the chemistry between the two of us and gave me a wink. I couldn't help but blush.
"Hey, Brooke! Who's this? New girlfriend?"
Katie gazed at me with a funny look in her eye. I glared at Caleb.
"Caleb! Not every girl I talk to is my girlfriend!"
"Right... Just most of them?"
I swatted his arm. Caleb has been my friend for forever. So he has teased me about being a lesbian for almost forever.
"I unlike you, do not go out with EVERY girl I meet! Just because I'm a lesbian doesn't mean I do that!"
Caleb looked hurt. "Ouch! If I had a heart, that would have broken it!"
We laughed.
"But seriously, who's your friend?"
"This is Kat!"
Caleb smiled and they shook hands.
"Nice to meet you. Take care of this one, will ya? She's a wild one!"
Katie smiled slyly.
"Oh, don't you worry, Caleb. I'll take GREAT care of her..."
