~A Week Later~
So I've been coping with this flying power for a week now! I still can fly. I wish that there was a way to get rid of it. You are probably wandering where I am now. Well, I told my mom that I was going out for a walk around the neighborhood...and...well.....I'm flying above the clouds and sitting in the sky writing in this book. There, I said it. And yes, I lied to my mom. I want to get rid of my power because sometimes I fly an inch off the ground for no reason and stumble I front of many people. Like at school. Also, when do I have time to fly? I know I can do it at night, but the next morning I'm VERY VERY VERY sleepy. You would probably think that I can just limit my time on flying. It's not like that! Something urges you to keep going for a little bit longer and then you stay up for 3 hours! And then you lay in your bed and can't go to sleep. Ugg! I don't want to tell anyone. Well, maybe one person......
~An Hour Later~
"CELIA CELIA," I yelled.
"What is it?"
"I have something to say to you, but you have to keep it a secret."
"Ok,"
"Promise,"
"Promise," she responded, all excited.
I took her outside to our backyard. Luckily, mom went to the store. We looked around and made sure that no one saw us.
"Hold on tight," I said, squeezing her hand. I took off.
"Annabella, wow," Celia exclaimed.
"Don't tell anyone," I said.
"Okay okay." I suddenly jumped up and suddenly soared high in the sky. Celia stared in shock and trying to adjust to what is happening. I kept going up and up and up until we were up above the clouds. I set Celia on a cloud. Right when I let go, she immediately dropped, plummeting to the ground.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH," Celia screamed. My first instinct was to stand there stunned. " Snap out of it Annabella!!!!"
"I can do it, I can do it, I CAN DO IT," I said to myself. I dove face first to the ground, all the wind pressing against my face. A sickening feeling settled in my stomach. I have only seconds until Celia cracks her head on the ground. "Come on, come on, come on! You can do it! No. But what if I can't stop myself! No, no, no, NO!!!! Time is ticking Annabella's! Come on! You know the consequences! If Celia drops, she'll break open her head or or even die! Just do it! I can't! Help me!" Now Celia is yards off the ground.
~Seconds later~
Celia lands with a thump on a trampoline. Then bounces off it into the air again and lands on a roof. Of course I'm just staring there in shock unable to move. Celia was still laying on the roof, unconscious. She suddenly started rolling and rolling and rolling down the roof. "NOOOOO," I screamed at the top of my lungs. I was frozen in the air, stuck like a tree rooted to the ground. I panicked all over. Oh, I forgot to tell you, I was SOOO lucky that THERE WAS A ROSE BUSH WITH THORNS RIGHT UNDERNEATH HER!!!!! AHHHHH!!!!!! I finally was done panicking and swooped towards the ground. Well, house. Celia rolled of the edge of the roof, plummeting towards the thorns. I dived faster, hoping to get there in time. I caught her a little too late. Her legs were in the thorns, but her top half was fine. Her socks were covered in thorns and her hair was all messed up. She had many cuts and looked in bad shape. I only had one idea.
"Hunter, Malaneie," I yelled, running in the house. My siblings came right away. I dragged them to our neighbor's yard.
"CELIA," they said, staring at Celia. They immediately rushed to Celia. Unlike me, standing there frozen! I explained everything to them. Even my flying.
"Whoa," they said. Now, Hunter was kneeling at Celia's feet, picking thorns out of her socks. Malaneie ran back to the house to get a wash cloth and bandages for her cuts and scrapes. A couple minutes later, she came back with PLENTY of supplies. We all tried to clean up all we could and did a pretty good job. After all that, we snuck Celia into the house and put her on Malaneie's bed because mom isn't allowed to come in without permission. Don't ask! Let's just say that Malaneie won in a fight 😁. We set her down carefully and tried to wake her up.
"Come on Celia! This is a bad time to do this!"
"Don't rush her," we wisper- yelled.
"Well sorry!"
