Chapter 1

5 Days Earlier

"Students, please listen up! I have very important news that you need to hear!" says our advisory teacher, Mrs. Moonridge.

All the students stop their conversations with their friends and look up at the teacher. "Well, I just got news that there are four killer clowns running through Brindlebrook right now. They only come out during the evening and last throughout the night. We recommend that you all stay inside during that time. Except for tonight and tomorrow night since it's homecoming time!" says Mrs. Moonridge. She finishes talking and everyone goes back to their conversations.

"OH MY GOD, CLOWNS?! I'm terrified of clowns!" says Fox looking nervously at her friends.

"Oh stop being a pussy. They aren't that scary." says Copper with a chuckle.

"If they have weapons, a scary face, and blood on them, then yeah they are terrifying." says Jason.

The three friends keep going back and forth talking about the clowns until the bell to leave school rings. They go to their lockers, grab their stuff, and then leave to go to Jason's house. When they get to Jason's, Fox gets a text from her boyfriend saying that he thinks that they should break up. She starts to bawl her eyes out.

"Fox, what's wrong?" Copper asks worriedly.

"Noah broke up with me." Fox manages to say through a cloud of tears.

-"That fuckboy! I'm going to kill him!" says Copper angrily.

"No, please don't. Just please help me, help me get him off my mind." says Fox while taking shaky breaths in between words.

The three friends quickly find something productive to do. They choose to watch the movie, It. It is a movie about one creepy ass clown. For the next two hours, they sit on the couch eating popcorn and drinking soda. Every time there was a jumpscare Fox, the one with the bowl of popcorn, would throw the bowl into the air. The popcorn would land all over Copper and Jason.

After two hours of horror, the movie is finally over. Copper, Fox, and Jason just sit there for a minute or two in silence. "Guys, that movie was such a bad idea!" Fox says breaking the silence.

"No, it wasn't. Stop being such a pussy." Copper says annoyingly.

"Okay, I have to agree with Fox. It was a bad idea to watch It. There are clowns roaming around Brindlebrook." Jason says cowardly.

"Oh, shut up you pussy!" Copper says loudly.

For the next 10 minutes Copper and Jason go back and forth fighting. Fox is sitting there getting very annoyed. Her head could explode any minute.

"Can you guys please stop fighting?! My head is about to explode." says Fox screaming at the top of her lungs.

Jason and Copper look at each other angrily. "Fuck you..." Copper says with a death glare.

"Let's go. It is almost time for the Homecoming football game." says Fox sadly because her boyfriend is the head quarterback.

"Yay sports." says Jason sarcastically.
