A smile played across my lips as I remembered the last job I went on. Natsu acted like such an idiot. I giggled quietly and strolled into the guild hall. I was immediately tackled by my best friend a pink haired weirdo. "Y/n!" He yelled "Lets go on a job!" "Ok." I replied "I'll go get Lucy and Erza, you find Gray." "No y/n!" He screamed at me. "I wanna go on a job with you!" Startled I agreed and went to look for decent jobs.
"Looks like Natsu finally asked y/n out!" Mira whispered to Lucy. "I don't think she realises it yet though." Lucy sighed.
"Y/n!!!!!" Natsu's voice rang through the guild. "I've found the perfect job!!" His face was lit up with excitement and I couldn't refuse.
-Time skip (cause I'm lazy af) -
Somehow I had been separated from Natsu in a large forest. Great! The bandits we were supposed to be catching were closing in. "Pffht." A bandit said "A weak girl,this'll be easy." "Don't underestimate me!" I yelled and screamed "m/a!" Sending him flying. "You asked for it now!" The others yelled and began to fight.
-Time skip (again) -
It seemed like it had been forever but the bandits were still standing. I was too weak. They encircled me preparing to end my life. Suddenly "FIRE DRAGON ROAR!" echoed through the forest and the whole place was engulfed in flames. "At last." I thought "My favourite idiot is here." I heard him charge into the bandits before I passed out.
"Y/n!" A familiar voice called out. Sleepily I opened my eyes. "Y/n you're awake!" Natsu yelled." I thought you were dead!" "Well I'm not!" I replied smiling at my best friend."And I won't be for awhile!"
"Y/n I'm sorry for leaving you." He hung his head sadly. "Its okay because you came to save me." I beamed back. "Y/n I wouldn't forgive myself if you died. I love you y/n." "I love you too Natsu." The excitement returned to his eyes as he pulled me up. "Alright lets go!" My pink haired weirdo yelled.
Sorry that wasn't very romantic but I don't want to break Natsu's innocence.
