Chapter 9

EYO MY LITTLE MUNCHKINS!!! So this is my second update in less than 24 hours... So two updates in one day technically. Lol anyway so dis chapter is in Zelda's castle cuz why not? €£¥£€(Hylia's POV)€£¥£€

The cold stone floor was practically sucking out the warmth of my body. I lay on the floor when a guard came in with my sad amount of food and water. I got up and walked to the tray, feeling like an animal.

I could see the guard cringe as I walked towards him. He looked at the scars on my face, arms, and legs.

I was wearing different clothes now. Zelda made me put on a thick white shirt that looked like a tunic. The opposite colour of L's.

L, I thought, I miss you so much. Please, please come and rescue me soon. If you don't I swear I'm going to die out here.

I sat in the corner with my food and ate it. It was a stale and cold lump of bread, but was good enough to last me. I picked up the water. Something looked off about it, it looked a little...grey.

I studies the water a little more before shrugging and drinking it. The weird taste that this water usually had was stronger now, a lot stronger. I dropped my cup before my body started trembling.

I don't know why, but everything now seemed so... Funny. I started giggling, then laughing hysterically. I don't know why I was doing this though, so I sat in the corner, brought my knees to my chest, and rocked back and fourth while quietly but madly laughing.

Am I going insane? What if I am? What was in that water? I tasted and looked weird but... Ugh why did I drink that?!

My thoughts and mumbles were soon interrupted. I looked at the bars to the cell and saw her. I saw that pathetic excuse of a princess and ruler staring down at me.

Then behind her I spotted link. He looked so strong and serious, like a bodyguard.

"Link..." I whispered in a hoarse voice. I haven't realized how dry my throat was until now.

As soon as I said his name he looked at me and his eyes softened from their hard glare that they had a few seconds ago.

"So pathetic. What does that pile of trash see in you?" Said Zelda. "I mean, I know he's just as pathetic, maybe more, than you... But he could do better." She said while staring down at me.

I stood up and held her gaze. "Take me on. Right here, right now. Lets see what happens you filthy, pathetic excuse for a princess." I said, never losing her eye contact.

Just after I said that a few guards came up to her and said "Ma'm, it's time for her torture, unless you want us to delay it for today."

She smiled, "No, I think she should get double the torture time." I saw an evil glint in her eyes.

I smiled even wider than her smile. "Thanks princess, I could go for some torture right now." I said as I was escorted out of my cell.

She walked out of her cell, smiling madly. I looked at her again, seeing the scars that covered her body. All I wanted to do was hold her and tell her it was ok. But she hated me now.

Zelda and I started to walk away when I ask "What have you been giving her? She seems like she's going insane..."

"That's because she is. I'm giving her a little bit of black chu jelly in her water."

"Black...chu?" I asked. I've seen red, yellow, blue, purple... even green ones. But never a black."

"That's because they only live in the fields of the twilight realm. I went and killed a few. Those things may be nasty, but can be useful on prisoners."

"How so?" I asked.

"They make the drinker die immediately, unless they drink it a drop a day. Then they slowly go insane. Eventually they die of insanity." She said.

My eyes widened. I couldn't believe this. Hylia... was going insane. I didn't think this was right, but if it was for a good cause then I'd go along with it. We needed to kill him, at least I think we do.
