The only thing I could think about for the rest of the day was Jay calling me cute. I was turning into one of those annoying girls....soon I'll be squealing and fangirling. I wonder what Robyn would say about that. She'd probably disown me completely.
"So, Jay. Who is you boyfriend?" Robyn asked the question I'd been dreading.
"He's not really my boyfriend.....We've just been dating for a few weeks." He said hesitantly. "Boyfriend was just the word that came out."
"Well, whatever he is, who is it?" Robyn nudged him teasingly, obviously not realising I didn't want to know.
"Me!" We simultaneously turned round to where the excited voice came from.
Ok this guy was nothing special, just your average high school teenager. It's not like his eyes were gorgeous, or his smile contagious or....who am I kidding? He was stunning.
He also had great taste in fashion. He wore smart trousers, a shirt and braces. It was like a geek sheek look, complete with glasses and blonde, quiffed hair.
"I heard what happened in class today." He spoke to Jay like we weren't even there.
"Ye." Jay blushed as he spoke.
"Aw JJ, come here." The boy pulled "JJ" into a hug. Honestly it was making me cringe. I was not jealous.
"Urm...hello?" Robyn waved her hand in front of the boy's face, obviously not liking being ignored.
"Oh...Hi?" The boy looked confused. "You are?"
"This is Robyn and Taylor. Robyn, Taylor...this is Ash, my boyfriend." Ash....that's quite a nice name, but boyfriend? I'm pretty sure Jay said they were just dating. Robyn noticed aswell.
"I thought you were just da-"
"Robyn." Jay laughed nervously, hinting at Robyn to shut up. Oh...I get it now. Ash thought of Jay as a boyfriend but Jay didn't think of Ash as one. To me, it was quite amusing. Jay just looked flustered. I dont blame him, either. Ash was a but full on, very flamboyant and...clingy.
"JJ" Ash wined (he was reminding me of Michelle now) "are you coming to mine tonight?" He winked.
"Urm..." Jay looked so awkward....not going to lie; it was hilarious. "I....Taylor actually asked me round tonight." He sad hurridely. What?
"Oh....why?" Ash said bluntly, turning to me.
"Urm..." I had some quick thinking to do. "We....we have to do a history assignment together." No we didn't.
"Okaaaay. ....." Ask looked suspicious. "Well...I'll see you tomorrow then." He pecked Jay on the lips. "Have fun." He gave me the dirtiest look.
"What was that?" Robyn exclaimed when Ask had gone. She had a permanent smirk plastered on her face.
"Urm..."
"Come on, Jay, spill...." Robyn was not letting him go wthout explaining.
"Ok." He held his hands up in surrender. "I don't want to date him. I liked him at first but he's just...not for me." I got a spark of hope.
"Oh just tell him and get it over with." Robyn scoffed.
"You are so not understanding." I said, laughing.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes. "See you tomorrow Jay." We began walking off when Jay stopped me.
"Hey, Taylor. What about our history?"
"What?" I was so confused. "We don't-"
"We don't want Ash to catch me not at your house, do we?" He smirked.
"Wait....so you want to come to my house?" What was happening.
He shrugged. "I've got nothing better to do."
