"Taylor!" Nansy shouted, clicking her fingers in front of my face.
"Urm....what?" I'm snapped out of my....rather confusing thoughts.
"What is wrong with you?" She laughed. "You've been out of it since you got back."
"Sorry. ..."
"I would recognise this behaviour anywhere." She smirked. "This is about a special someone isn't it. Come on, spill. Boy? Girl?"
"Boy!" I said immediately.
"Do you like him?" She was very blunt.
"Yeah......a lot." I said shyly.
"And....he likes you?" I knew where this was going.
"Yeah.....I think so. ..."
"So what is the problem?" That was.....why did no one see this was confusing.
"I don't know! What are people going to think? Dad doesn't approve of everything I do and mum still thinks I'm about three." I scoff. "Then there's his angry ex who I think might murder me if he sees me again!"
"Okay...calm down. Don't worry about your dad, he'll come round and your mother loves you and will be glad you're happy. As for his ex, I don't think he's going to "murder" you so stop exaggerating." She laughed.
Why did she make everything so simple?
I sighed in defeat. "He is really nice."
"Exactly! Now, go get your man. This reminds me of when I first noticed your grandfather."She smiled fondly at the memory.
"Your love inspires me." I match her smile.
"Inspired." She corrects me sadly.
"No," I stick with my original statement. "Your love still goes on and that's what makes it so special."
"When did you get so grown up? " She pulls me into a hug.
Nansy was right, it was simple. All I had to do was tell everyone.
