Is He A Blue Jay?

Dating?

Ok, you know when you dream about something for years and then, suddenly, for no apparent reason, you're living that dream. You played no part in making it happen...but it does.

That's what hanging out with Jay felt  like. I got over my nerves pretty quickly...I guess he had that effect on people. He was just so easy to talk to, no awkward silences.

"So....what do you think about Ash?" Jay asked.

"So you value my opinion now aswell?" I raised an eyebrow at him, smirking.

"Well.....We're friends aren't we?" He laughed, but I knew he was asking me seriously.

"Course we are." I shoved him lightly.

"So?" He returned to the original question.

What was I supposed to say? He seemed rude, clingy and....I was jealous of him?

"Urm.....he's a bit.....full on." I compromised my opinion. I wasn't  about to start singing praises about him.

"You don't like him do you?" He asked.

"Well.....he was a bit blunt with me." I shrugged.

"Paha he's gets protective. He has trust issues, insecure and stuff." Jay smiled sadly. "That's why it's so hard to break things off with him...."

"Well he doesn't have to be jealous of us does he?" I laughed...but it was kind of forced.

"Well. ....I dont know. We could have a scandalous affair behind his back." He joked.

"Yeah right." I scoffed.

"Well you're not that bad."

"Jay Johnson, are you saying you would cheat on your boyfriend with me?" I faked being appalled...but secretly I was loving this.

"Certainly not! I can't belive you would think that about me!" He mirrored my attitude. "I would break up with him first."

Wait, what?

"Jay?" I didn't know if he was joking anymore.

"Urm....I better get going." He started hurridely gathering his thing together. "Thanks for letting me hang here."

"Wait, Jay?" I ran after him down he stairs.

"Urm...see you tomorrow." He wouldn't make eye contact with me.
And then he was out the door.

What? He can't just leave me like that. No explanation. Nothing.
