4 - Revenge??

Alex POV

"Sooo, what's the plan?" My little sister looked at me with a wide grin on her face.

"What plan?" I stated. What's she on about?

"Getting revenge on the Princess." 

She looked at me with a serious look on her face. Wait, what?

"You actually want to get revenge on her?" I questioned.

She nodded "You said we will get revenge on her! Aren't you going to do it!"

"Ummmmmm... no. Are you crazy? Does it look like we are capable of doing something like that? We can hardly ask for permission to visit the palace, let alone track the person who killed our parents and get revenge! We have no power!" 

Her face dropped. I didn't know what else to say to her.

"Well, I thought about what you said yesterday and I realised that we can't kill her." 

Really? Do you think so?

"Wait, are you saying that you actually considered killing her?? What are you?" I shouted.

"Noo... of course not! Silly!" She hesitated.

"Then what do you actually want to do with the Princess? Attack her? Does some intense voodoo hypnotic dance choreography inside her to twist a vessel in heart and make her become our slave? Cos if you want to do that then... Sure! Go Ahead!"

I laughed at my own sarcastic remark. 

"Stop being so childish. We just... I don't know..."

Ji Soo lifted her head up and shuffled uneasily in her chair as if she just realised something. 

"What's wrong, Ji Soo?" She looked uncomfortable and was about to say something but a loud shriek from outside turned both our heads around.

We looked through the window to see a woman on the ground, crying her eyes out. She was screaming something but I couldn't really understand.

"M-MY... MY BABY!! SHE TOOK MY CHILD! THAT EVIL WITCH IS GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!! H-HE WAS SO LOVELY AND KIND AND HAPPY WHY WOULD SHE KILL HIM!?!?"

(a/n btw..this is just a random woman from a random family..)

A person came up to her and asked," Who? Who killed Seokjin Oppa?"

She began to cough. "THE PRINCESS! THAT PRINCESS ROSÉ! HOW DARE SHE KILL MY HANDSOME YOUNG MAN! MY JINNIE!! I WIL-"

She continued to cough and couldn't stop. The helpless woman began coughing blood out.

Ji Soo looked at me with panic in her eyes.

"We have to help her! She's dying!"

"Calm down Ji Soo, there's nothing we can do. We can't get involved with anymore deaths. That's how we lost mum and dad! I don't want to lose you too..."

I stared down to the floor. Our lives are already at so much risk. The princess is probably planning our deaths right now. I regretted what I had just said as I could see tears streaming down her cheeks.

I pulled her into my arms.

"I'm sorry you had to go through all of this. I'm so sorry."

Rosé's POV

At The Palace

I wiped the blood off my sword and laughed to myself. Did that Kim Seokjin guy really think that he could beg me to help the country? How stupid! I may be the princess but I can't just help people learn to respect each other and act like normal humans. He actually thought he could bribe me! As if I want to listen to his stupid little jokes. And I think I done everyone else a favour by killing him!

(A/N pls don't hate me for killing jin..)

I walked into my room and went to the balcony. The wind was warm and the light shone onto my eyes. Pulling my pillow close to me, I sat on the corner with my back against the wall of the balcony. My hair blew across my face as I moved to look in the distance.

The buildings were broken and what once was a beautiful park filled with grass and flowers had now become a bare, muddy field. I remember looking at the country from this same spot, and how it made me so happy to see how pretty everything was.

Now it was too dangerous.

I still find it hard to believe that my parents left me to sort out this mess. Why didn't they do anything as soon as it all started to go downhill?

Alex's POV

I ran into the coffee shop and put on my apron. Let's hope my boss doesn't realise I was late! A crowd of teenagers walked into the shop and was about to take orders when I felt two taps on my shoulder. I turned around to see my boss look me in the eyes with his eyebrows raised.

Quickly, I bowed down and leaned towards the counter without noticed the cup of coffee which spilled all of the surface. Cursing to myself, I rushed to get a towel and wiped the surface. I looked back to my boss who was now smirking to himself.

I cleared my throat before apologising for being late.

"What was it this time? " He questioned

My mind went blank. How do I explain that I had to find someone to look after my sister since I have no parents and can't afford to pay for myself, let alone her too?

"Umm, it was a family matter. I'm sorry, sir,  it won't happen again."

"Well, it better not. You know you didn't even deserve to be working here. Now go do something useful and help those customers with their orders." I nodded and ran.

I begged my boss to let me work here. It's the only place that is close to home and pays well. Since I didn't have enough experience, or any experience frankly, he's going to pay me less- but I didn't tell Ji Soo that. She's already stressed out with her studies and with everything that has happened. I'm going to need to work hard.

"You said we will get revenge on her! Aren't you going to do it!"
