(I changed the whole thing, they go on a their official first date after the funeral)
Dillion's P.O.V
Today's my moms funeral, I don't know how to feel, I'm happy because she's in a better place then fighting for her life but sad because she's my here with me and to watch me grow up
"Babe" Ethan said quietly
"Yeah" I sigh
"You better get ready" Ethan said hugging me from behind
"Yeah" i say again, not in the mood to talk
I walk into the closet and get my dress and walk into the bathroom and get dressed, I don't wear makeup anyway so why put some on, I walk back into Ethan bedroom and see Ethan I'm a black tux with a white undershirt
"You two ready we are leaving in a couple of minutes, they want Dillion there before it all starts" i hear Lisa knocking on the door
"Ya, almost" Ethan said
"You ready" he said walking towards me pulling me into a hug
I sigh and nod, we walk down the stairs to the door, I put on my black heals and Ethan puts on his black Aldo's
Ethan grabs his truck keys from the table beside the door and walks out, I close the door behind me and walk behind Ethan, he opens my door and I return a slight smile
He starts the truck and pulls out of the driveway, it's a 30 minute ride to the funeral home so this is going to be fun (hint the sarcasm)
I just sit there playing with my thumbs and close my eyes to fight the tears, I feel Ethan's hand on my thigh rubbing it up and down
"I'm here Dillion, you know that you can talk to me" he said still looking at the road
"I just *sigh* I just want my mom to be here" I sob out
"I know baby, I know" I hear him sniffle
"I want her to see me grow up and get married, have kids so she can take them to day care when I can't" I continue, crying my heart out
Ethan just sits there comforting me in anyway he could
I finished my rant and just cry, Ethan pulls over and gets out, I'm confused at first but he comes to my side and opens my door, he unbuckled my seat belt and pulls my to his chest, Lisa notices me pulled over and stopped so she did too and got out same with Cameron and Grayson, they come over and just stand there, not knowing what to do
I sniffle into Ethan's chest and laugh
"I got your tux all wet" I say laughing, trying to lighten up my mood
"It's fine princess" he said rubbing my back which always calms me down when he does it
We get back into our vehicles and drive to the funeral home
Once we're there I walk in alone because they only wanted family, I told them that Ethan's my boyfriend but they only wanted relatives
"Ok, do you want an open casket or closed" the man said beside my moms casket
"Open" i say nodding
"Ok" he said
Everyone starts walking and hugging me at the entrance, her co workers, my cousins, aunts and uncles, they all tell me their sorry for my loss and I hug them back
Ethan's family walked in and Lisa hugged me so tight I could barley breath
"Mom, we don't want to attend two funerals, do we" Ethan said and I giggle
