Kyla's POV

2 weeks.

Its been 2 weeks since Luna and I got that creepy note.

Its been 2 weeks since are supposed uncle wrote to us.

Its been 2 weeks since our lives were threatened.

And it hasn't stopped there.

Since that night weird things have been happening. Like the next morning, my ankle was completely healed like nothing had happened but I keep the bandage on so no one suspects anything. Or like every night or every second night we got a note. This 'uncle' of our's knows a lot about us. More than we even know. He accuses of knowing who our birth parents are. He says that we must pay for their mistakes. Who is he? Well we don't know, but we are going to find out.

The sun shone through the windows of our bedroom. Ugh Mondays. I look over to see Luna lying on her bed, already dressed, scrolling through her phone and giggling. Probably texting Jake. I rolled my eyes and propped myself onto one elbow facing her.

"How long have you been awake?" I asked, yawning.

"About an hour." She replied, not looking up from her phone.

"You disgust me. What teenager wakes up early for school."

"Ones that care about education and not food." Luna replied, getting up from her bed and walking to my closet.

"I do care about my education." Luna raised her eyebrows. "But after I have had coffee. And had 12 hours of sleep."

"Well too bad. Get up, we are leaving in 10." Luna replied throwing an outfit at my face.

"Ugh! But I don't want to go to school." I groaned, shoving my face into my pillow.

"Mason will be there!" Luna sang. I paused.

"Fine." Luna smirked. "But only because I want to."

"Are you sure it has nothing to do with a brown haired, grey-eyed descendant of Hercules who you have been dating for about 2 weeks?" Luna questioned, with a playful smirk on her face.

"Nope." I replied confidently, whilst getting up. Luna cocked her eyebrows. "Okay maybe a little but stop overreacting and leave so I can change. Wouldn't want miss goody-two shoes to be late fro school, now would we?" Luna rolled her eyes.

"Yeah. Yeah. I'll be waiting in the car." Luna said, walking out the room. I chuckled and slipped on what Luan gave me. It was a grey off-the-shoulder shirt with a high-waisted skirt. I slipped on a pair of heeled combat boots and grabbed an apple before jumping in the car.

"Off to hell we go!" I exclaimed as we drove to what we never knew would be an.....eventful day.

10 minutes later we arrived at school. As we got out the car, I scanned the area looking for Mason. I couldn't see him anywhere....weird usually he arrives before us and meets us at the entrance. We started walking to the main bit to see a big huddle of people chanting. As I walked closer and pushed through the people, I saw a pissed off Barbie and an angry Tori.

"Look here, you and your girlfriend Tami or Lami, whatever it is, can leave here because lets be honest you are all just a disappointment I mean your relationship already teared your girlfriend away from her sister." Barbie smirked.

"Firstly, her name is Cami and secondly if you ever offend her ever again I swear on the Gods of Olympus you will be screaming for mercy in the darkest pits of hell." Tori shouted at Barbie and her posse. Before it got any more heated I looked at Luna and gave her a nod. I jumped in between the two girls as Luna dragged Tori off to calm down.

"Hey Barbra, missed me?" I sweetly asked.

"Oh...Look what the cat dragged in? Trash." Barbie replied whilst people sniggered.

"Did you have you use your only two brain cells to think of that?" I asked. Everyone burst out laughing.

"So tell me, Kyla, how's Mason?" Barbie asked, completely ignoring my last statement.

"Fabulous."

"Oh he was amazing last night. He is like an animal in bed, isn't he? Oh wait you wouldn't know because little Kyla is still a virgin." Barbie cackled.

"Jokes on you. I'd rather be called virgin over a STD vending machine any day." I replied in amusement as Barbie started to turn red....or maybe that's just the 30 pounds of blush she is wearing.

"And you wouldn't know how I was in bed. I would never stoop that low." I heard a voice reply behind me. I turned to see a smirking Mason. I felt my lip twitch upwards before I turned back to Barbie.

"And for your information, the reason Jesse and Cami don't talk has nothing to do with Tori. It's to do with your little slut posse. So next time get your facts right." I spat at the 3 girls. I turned around and grabbed Mason's hand but before I left I turned and looked at Barbie one last time. "Oh and Barbra, a tip for the future. Don't spread rumours like you spread your legs." And with that we walked away from the laughing group of teenagers.

We walked over to our lockers, hand-in-hand, enjoying the peace. As we reached Mason's locker I looked up at him.

"Ace?" I asked.

"Yes, Princess?" He replied, exchanging a bunch of books from his locker and bag.

"Why were you late?" I saw Mason tense for a second before returning to normal.

"Nothing. Just had to drop off Belle to school." Mason replied.

"Oh, okay." I said, looking down at my feet.

"Don't do that." Mason groaned, I looked up.

"Do what?" I asked, confused.

"That face that makes me feel bad for being late." Mason pouted. I just chuckled.

"Oh, don't worry you can make it up to me by buying ice-cream." I said, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

"That's all I get? A kiss on the cheek?" Mason said, showing his best puppy dog eyes. I smiled and rolled my eyes. I then wrapped my arms around Mason's neck and gave him a kiss on the lips but as I was about to pull away he grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. I smiled as we kissed for a bit longer and then broke apart. I rested my forehead in his as I looked into his stormy grey eyes.

"Let's go to English!" I whispered before dragging a complaining Mason behind me. Little did we know that today was going to go a little differently.
