Chapter 6: This Is Halloween

It's been about a week since the incident happened. I can't really explain it, but I know we were threatened.

I haven't really said anything to Stefan about it, and he hasn't either.

But today's Halloween and the clan is coming over. By clan I mean Stefan, James, Isaac, and of course Mariana.

We've been hanging out a lot this week.

I already picked out my costume ands did Mariana... but she won't show me.

Matter-of-factly Stefan helped me pick out my costume. I usually don't do much on Halloween but this year, I want to do something.

My moms also home. She got here this morning. I haven't seen her in a week I swear.

"Mom where have you been?" I asked her in concern. I hugged her, since I had that dream and I hadn't seen her.

She chuckled and returned the hug, "I've been stuck at work sweety."

That's understandable. Moms a lawyer, but she works for celebrities. She has to go out of town a lot. Sometimes it's hard for her to get back home since its soo late and traffic in the city is a mess. But she hasn't been away for so long before.

"It's just that I've missed you." I hugged her tighter. "I've missed you too, the only thing I had time for was to call you. I'm sorry sweety. Dads coming home today too. You'll have both of us tonight." this is the right time to tell her about Halloween.

"Mom, not tht I wasn't going to ask you, but since you weren't around I thought I would ask Maria. But, since you are here I have to ask you about tonight." she looked at me for a while with confusion. But then I guess she realized that tonight was Halloween and I probably wanted to go out. So I continued, "Can I go out with my friends for Halloween tonight?" I asked hoping she wouldn't say no.

"Are you going with Mariana and other people?" she asked. Ok so my mom's not strict but she can be a little iffy about where I go and who I go with at certain times. "Yea, remember the class project I had to do for school that Ms. Burnham called you about?" I asked her. She nodded her head. "Yea well I'm going with my partner and his friends too."

She made an "o" shape with her mouth and gave me permission. Yay! I get to go trick or treating.

As I was about to leave I remembered I had to tell her something. "Oh and mom, you should meet our new neighbors." she turned and gave me a nod, she continued doing whatever it was she was doing in the kitchen.

So everyone had their costumes ready even Mariana who won't tell me who she's gonna be. I bet it's nothing that crazy.

It's kind of a funny story. Guess what I'm gonna be.

Are you done? You don't know, do you?

Well I'm gonna be a... NINJA!!!

Thanks to Stefan anyways. He calls me that after all.

I told Stefan he should be a banana. I didn't really mean it, I was just joking around. But he did it. We even bought the costume together. I can't wait to see him in it.

As for James and Isaac, James is going to be a pirate while Isaac is gonna be a... PANDA. yea he was inspired by my prank on Stefan's face.

I'm inspiring, what can I say?
