Thomas awoke in a hospital bed of his own, he sat up in a cold sweat. A nurse walked in and looked at him "Ah, Mr.Jefferson, glad to see you awake." Thomas's mind automatically to the smaller man "W-where is A-lex." he choked, his throat was dry and scratchy. The nurse looked at him "Next room over, no you can't see him either. You've been like this since you got here which was yesterday, here drink this." She held a glass of water up to his mouth, he reluctantly took a sip. He was delighted to the ice cold refreshing water that made his throat feel way better then previously. He stopped replenishing himself "Thank you Miss." He said, she only nodded and looked at him "Better?" she asked sweetly. It was Thomas's turn to nod in response "Way better." He said in his sweet Virginia accent that was now returning.
