I Never Knew... 《ON HIATUS》

At The Mall

(Name)'s POV:

I finally got ready and got in the passenger seat of the car. My mom played Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots (she knew I loved that song), attempting to cheer me up, which again worked. After ten minutes, we reached our destination, the mall.

"So, (Name) where'd you want to eat?" My mom asked, looking around the food court for a good place to sit.

"Hmmmm, what about some ramen mom?" I asked. I really enjoy ramen, especially at this one shop called Ramen Ichiraku! It's the best there!

"Sure, haven't had it for a while"

We went to the best ramen store in the food court, but of course it couldn't beat Ichiraku.

----TIME SKIP----

After eating, my mom decided to take me to Hot Topic. After buying some clothes, we just decided to walk around, sipping on our Matcha Frappe from Starbucks.

Oh.. my.. God.. I saw Sakura. She looked at me and started running towards me. I didn't know what to do or say so I just stood there like a girl that just saw her favourite anime character jumping out from the screen.

"(NAME)!"

"U-uh, hello there" I said, still with the wide eyes.

"Heyy, how are you? How's life? How's school? How are your friends? Did you find a boyfriend? Do you like anybody? What brings you to the mall? Do you miss me? Do you even remember me? You still live in Tokyo? How are your grades? How is your family? Do you wear makeup?" This wasn't even half of all the questions she asked me. I just looked at her, only answering her first question.

"I'm good thank you.. How are you?"

"(Nameeeee).. I asked all those questions and you only answer one.. Fine then be that way!" She pouted, arms crossed.

"Gomen! Gomen! Sakura-Chan!" I tried to cheer her up, that's what I would do when we were little if something made her upset - which would usually be Sasuke ignoring her or something like that.

"Oh and by the way, how are you and Sasuke?" I said with a raised eyebrow, I really wanted to know since before she moved, Sasuke asked her out, so I just wanted to know what happened.

"Oh, well... Sasuke and I are official... I mean, we are dating" She said with that signature blush I still remember.

"Oh my God! That's awesome! I'm so happy for you two!" I said, with a closed-eye smile.

"Welllllll, (Name).. Do you still like-"

"SAKURA!" I hated it when she brought up the topic about him. I don't like sharing that secret with anyone. I seriously almost fainted when that idiot bully was about to reveal the secret.

"Okay, okay chill.. Can I just ask you one question.. Pwease?" She asked, no no.. She begged.

"Ugh, fine"

"Do you still like him?"

At this point, my mom was at another store, buying clothes. Which meant, I didn't have to hesitate too much to tell Sakura.

"Um.. W-well.. U-uh... I g-guess" I said. Shit! I stuttered! And blushed!

"Aww! I love it when you stutter! You're just like how we were when we were kids! And that blush of yours, so kawaii!" She squeals a little, with a closed eye smile.

"Sakura, stop it. You're embarrassing me.." I said, with my face being the darkest shade of red there possibly is.

"Oh my God! You're face is as red as Sasuke's tomatoes!" She said, giggling with her hand on top of her stomach.

"Sasuke's tomatoes? Oh that's right! He loves tomatoes doesn't he?" I asked, remembering the incident that happened when we were all kids - aged about 11 or 12.

---FLASHBACK---

3rd Person POV:

It was Halloween! You, Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto were going to go to the Halloween Festival this year, dressing up as anything you wanted. You dressed up as Pikachu, Sakura dressed up as a vampire, Naruto dressed up as Mario and Sasuke... Well, Sasuke dressed up as a big, red tomato. You couldn't stop laughing at the thought of how Sasuke would look like, his emotionless face but his body looking like it just exploded!

You and Sakura had something planned. It was a plan to bring tomatoes to the festival (making sure Sasuke doesn't know) and when he arrived, you two would squirt the tomatoes on his face. You couldn't wait till the festival but you were mainly excited for this prank.

----TIME SKIP----

You saw Naruto walking toward you, in his Mario costume. You blushed then said -

"Hi Naruto! You look great!"

"Hi (Name), thanks! You look awesome!" You blushed at his comment. Then, you saw Sakura arrive. Your excitement grew more and more by the second!

"Hey Sakura! Stunning as always!"

"Thankssssssss! Hasn't Sasuke arrived yet?"

"Nope... Oi, remember?" you said, nudging her elbow. Naruto raised an eyebrow, looking totally confused. He didn't know about this 'tomato plan'.

"Ahh yess! I remember, I'm so excited to see his reaction!" Sakura exclaimed.

"Hey, Sasuke! What's up with the costume dude!?" Naruto asked, looking at Sasuke from head to toe.

"Hn. If you were smart enough, you'd know it's a tomato dobe" Sasuke said, emotionless as always.

It was now time for you and Sakura to squirt those tomatoes on his face. 3 .. 2 .. 1 .. GO!

Sasuke's face was pure red, mostly from the tomato juice but a bit from anger as well. Oh no! You and Sakura were dead MEAT! Sasuke brushed off the anger, and took some tissues from a food stall, and wiped away the tomato juice - not to mention delivering his signature death stare at you and Sakura. But you and Sakura were too pre-occupied to notice due to all the laughter.

This was a time you'll never forget..

---END OF FLASHBACK---

(Name)'s POV:

I chuckled at the thought of that moment. Me and Sakura decided that we go hang out in the mall together. I went inside the store my mom was in and told her I was going with Sakura.

"Alright baby-cakes! Call me when you're ready for me to pick you up"

"Actually, Mrs. (L/N), can (Name) stay over at my home for tonight?" Sakura asked.

"Oh Sakura sweety, didn't you move to Kyoto a while ago?"

"I did, but we have an apartment here so our family comes to Tokyo to stay for a while now and then" To be honest, I didn't even know that fact.. But I should've guessed since Sakura is a pretty rich person. Well, she does have a higher rank in society.

"Well then sure! (Name), I'll pick you up in the morning, okay?" My mom asked me, expecting a 'm kay'.

"M'kay.. Bye mom!" I reply with a closed-eye smile.
