Chapter 2

I stood where I was suppose to meet the jet. Other kids were here too. " Sophia " I turn to see Tasha, my best friend. " Tasha " I smile hugging her. Pulling away we smile at each other. " you going too " she asked, I nodded, " I hope we're dorm mates " she says, I nod. " alright all students gather around " we walk to the other students, " When I call your name say here. Then once are done you will aboard the jet " the women says, she's a vampire I could tell by the pale white flawless skin. She starts calling names, and Tasha says here at her name. " Sophia Smith " " here " I say, she looks at me, for a moment her eyes kinda inspecting me..I look at her suspiciously. then she smiled and continues to call names. Weird..finally she let us aboard. Me and Tasha sat beside each other and talked. We were so excited. I couldn't wait, this was the best school to go too, and I was accepted. It was an honour for a human to get accepted..I'm not fully human though..

The flight was peaceful, when we were getting off the vampire girl came over to me, " I'm Stephanie . I'm apart of the royal court. " she smiled, extending her hand, I shake it, " Sophia " , she smiled, she moves closer to me so she's right In front of me. " You look...I can't believe it " she says, I take a step back, she clears her throat . " I hope you will enjoy your time at the academy. " she says I nod and walk to Tasha. " what was that about " she asks, " know idea " I told her and we walked to the cars.

Stephanie kinda freaked me out. I didn't know who she was talking about. I knew I didn't look like my mom, but I'm told I'm like her in many ways. Maybe Stephanie knew or knows my father. Maybe my father is looking for me! I knew my life was complicated the moment I woke up form the coma at eight years old. The accident..the accident I lost my mother too. The accident caused by a drunk driver, who was just badly hurt, while I lost my mother, and I almost died. I shouldn't even be alive. From the way we hit that tree...it was unbelievable I survived. After the accident I've been...different.. but now I'm at the academy. I'm starting my life. I'm gonna be a dr like mom wanted to. I get out of the car, and me and Tasha walk into the academy grounds..
it was huge. the building was like five of the schools at home, combined! I look at Tasha, she looks at me with the same big shocked eyes. We continue to walk. As I walked by, a vampire girl talking to Stephanie looks at me, and watches as I walk by. I was officially creeped out. " hi " I look to see a boy. He was about 5'10 and light brown hair, and green eyes. He was human defiantly but was cute. " I'm Logan " he smiles, extending his hands " Sophia " I smile shaking his hand. " I'm Tasha " Tasha shakes his hand, two other guys come over, " Jeremy " the one with darker brown hair says, I smile, " Sophia " " and I'm Ethan " the Tanner one says. He look like Jeremy but was tanned instead of the pale. " in case your wondering yes. Me and Jeremy are twins " Ethan smiles, I smile back, " You guys freshman too " Logan asks, I nod. " Come. You guys can hang with us. we'll introduce you to our friends" and we follow the boys.

" Susan, Margaret this is Tasha and Sophia, Sophia Tasha, Susan and Margaret " We shake hands, " who's this " I turn to see more boys, " Joseph Carson, this is Sophia and Tasha " Logan smiles, " Hi " Carson says, Carson has blond hair, and green jade eyes. And Joseph has dark brown hair with dark brown eyes. " Hey " Joseph smiled at Tasha and me. " so..where you girls from. We're from Lima " Logan says smiling at me. " Roma " I smile, Tasha and I both have Bulgarian skin as you can tell. We both also have dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, only mine have gold specks. And she's a bit shorter then me, and are heads are different shapes. But we're best friends and always have been. Her mom and my mom were friends, and her mom basically adopted me, after the accident Till a year ago, when I started living on my own.

Me, Tasha and the others all actually became kinda close. We just talked about school, and random questions like favourite colour or animal. Nothing too personal except Carson asking me if I had a boyfriend..but me and Tasha were happy when we found out we were rooming together and that Susan and Margaret were are nabours.

Walking into the autotorium , was kinda weird. A bunch of the vampires and werewolves kept starring at me, like I was a piece of art. I sat in between Logan and Tasha and it began.
