Chapter 10

This morning waking up wasn't the best. Knowing that Adrian could invade my dreams when I'm asleep and I couldn't run like I could in the real world, was creepy. He could do whatever the hell he wanted and I wouldn't be able to leave. Then classes were normal. till lunch. Which is where I'm about to arrive. I open the door to the cafeteria. I could feel the werewolves and vampires starring at me, while the humans paid know attention. I sat beside Logan and Susan. " hey " Logan says to me, " hi " I smile, " So...um..tomorrow there's a ah..a dance and I was wondering uh....if you would like to go with me? " he asks, I smile, " I would uh...love to " I smile, he smiles back. I think my heart just exploded. " Hey " I look to see Tasha sit down. " I just got asked to the dance. By like...6 people. Who should I say yes too " she asks, and that's how it was. The fact that Tasha actually got asked by 6 guys, who as she says were all human really explains a lot. See..she's more pretty. She more out there then me. But I like it that way. If I was flirted on by every guy like her how would I survive. The fact that I like Logan is enough. I'm an alchemist! It would be like with my mom and my...my father..which Tasha doesn't even know I found him, and that he's the king! Then she would ask questions. And.." Would Sophia smith please report to the headmistress office " oh great now what! I stand up and pick up my bag. " bye " I smile at my friends and walk out of the cafeteria.
Walking down the hall I look around. Some vampires are around and talking. When they see me pass they stop. " hey " I look to see Britney. Great.." hi Britney " I say, " going to the headmistress office? " she asks, I nod. " well. There's a party tomorrow and it's being hosted by Adrian. So..want to go with us royals. " she asks, that's when it hit me. Adrian wasn't the only one who knew I could be the Kings daughter. All the werewolves and vampires knew! They all also thought I was an alchemist too! That's why I was starred at..they all knew before I did! " Um sorry Britney but I actually have a date " I told her, I felt the stares of her friends and other vampire on me now. " who? " she asks, " a boy. A human boy. I'm sorry I can't go with you guys.  if you'll excuse me I have to report to the headmistress office " I say and walk away, down the hall.

I open the door to the office. " ah miss Smith. I'll tell the headmistress your here " Miss Roberts says and walks away. I sit down and wait.
About five minutes later miss Roberts come out, " you may go in dear " she says, I stand up and knock on the headmistress door. " come in " I open the door, and step in, and close it behind me. " Ms smith. Please sit " headmistress Collins says. I go to the chair in front of her desk, and put my bag down beside it, I slowly sit down on the chair and look around. The office wasn't the biggest thing in the world, but it was big. The walls were a light brown colour, and the floor was pink carpet to match her clothes. Her desk was a dark wood colour, with papers, stapler, computer, pencil ,pencil sharpeners, etc. " well Ms smith. " I look at the headmistress. " I have been told by his majesty that you know now " she says. Even she knew! I nod. " well..know that we didn't know at first when we wanted you. Your marks are very high, even with your rebellious attitude. Then after we sent the letter the king saw it, and he told us.." she says, I nod slowly. One of my questions have been answered now, I guess. " is that why I was put in the royal court studies? " I ask, she nods. " since technically you are the princess- " I cut her off, " I'm not a princess! " I told her sternly. I didn't want to be. I never did. All I ever wanted was to find my father, and I have. But why am I not happy... " I understand. You just found out who your father is. Must be hard, especially if he's the king " she says, standing up. I look at her, " but surely you must understand everyone being so ecstatic. We have two airs that we didn't even think were here, well most. I remember your mother and your father being together. I even remember you at the age of two. " she gets in front of me, " you were so adorable " she whispers, " your sister...i remember your mom being pregnant before she left. Never got to meet her but.." She says standing straight up now. " Now..understand that you will not be taken out of royal court studies. But other then that your father has said to just let you continue things as normal " she says, she walks to her desk and sits. " If that is all...can I go " I ask, " yes of course " she says, I nod and stand up. Picking my bag up and slinging it over my shoulder I walk to the door, " And Ms smith " I look at her, " try to be careful. Werewolves and vampire are the only ones that know who you are, and probably what you are. " She tells me, I nod and leave.
