The Powers I Didn't Want

Maybe I shouldn't have done that

Athena brings me inside and we sit down on the bed next to eachother. "Its not over. He won't forget, he never forgets things like that. He is jealous of your powers, Josie. He is upset that you were able to take down Hera like that. I am proud of you, but you better watch your back now. He will plot his revenge now, I gaurantee he will." I am scared now. The all powerful Zeus is after me, how could I not be scared?

Poseidon walks into the room, with Sam close on his heels. "Josie! Whats up?"

"Not much, just crushed Hera in a battle!"

"No way! So cool! I can't believe-" Sam is cut off by Poseidon, who shouts at us.

"No way? So cool? This is bad, girls! Really bad! I can't believe you did that Josie!" I put on a sad, disappointed in myself look, but on the inside, I'm amazed that I could do that. Poseidon walks away and so does Athena.

"I think they are mad at you. Maybe I should just go." Sam says to me.

"No, please don't. Its fine, really. Where are your bags? You can unpack if you want. There is a spare bed over there." I point to the corner of the room where there is another bed. Its about the same size as mine, accept alittle more dusty, but she can always just clean it off.

"Here they are," she lifts up her hands to reveal two small bags, "I packed light because I didn't know what was here, and I didn't have much time to pack."

"Yeah, neither did I. My parents packed a bag for me, and when I got here it was already in the dresser."

Sam looks like she is about to start to say something, but she is interupted when someone jumps through the window, and onto me. Whoever it is grabs me by the arm, and pulls me back out the window with him. I scream at the top of my lungs but it's no use, whoever it is is well trained, and has a plan. Before I know it I am dragged out of the sight of Sam. I am trying to break free but I can't do it, I swerve my head and realize that it is Zeus with a death grip on my arm. He knocks me out before I have a chance to process what is happening.
