The following days were a jumble of her keeping herself covered in mud and trying to figure out a way to evade her impending doom. She probably should've listened when she was told not to talk to strangers but, alas she didn't.  Now she was learning her lesson. She thought about finding civilization and changing her appearance so maybe he wouldn't find her .... It was her best best. She had to trek through the jungle ,moving further and further from her aunt. Personally she had never dealt with so much stress in her life but, maybe she could manage. Days and days of eating bugs and hiding covered in mud and he would pass over had her worn and tired. No sleep and very little food was making her tired. Incredibly tired. Ash silently sighed and sat down for a second. Staring at her now mud covered arms she grumbled to herself. Why her? Why had he taken such an interest in her? She wasn't special. In fact she was far from it. After a few minutes rest she filled her canteen from a nearby stream and carried on.
Hours later she walked sluggishly through the forest. Not sure where she was anymore . She had lost her phone a while ago .  Dropped it while hearing a aggravated roar from a ways off. Stumbling suddenly she yelped tumbling down a rather tall hill. It became steeper and soon she fell landing wrong on her ankle. Hearing a small snap made her cry out.  Bloody hell!! She thought. Calming her breaths after a few minutes she reached and check. Well shit... Nothing broken thankfully but she knew it was either twisted or fractured and there was now a rather large gash on her leg. She wanted to just give up and let him find her.   Maybe she would get something in her stomach or at least medical treatment but, no she was to stubborn for that. Wrapping her jacket around her leg tightly she grabbed a nearby limb big enough to support her weight and continued on. An hour later it grew dark so she made camo in a small cave . Getting comfy she groaned at her leg pain and dozed off. She woke up nauseous and feeling on fire. Checking her wound she saw it was becoming rather infected and needed to be treated soon. As she checked her watch she realized she had slept for a few hours . Realizing the mud had dried she stood to make way over to some across the cave. She heard a loud snap and she cried out as her leg came from under her. Yeah definitely broke now. Biting her lip she pulled her boot off as gently as possible and stared at the protruding bone from her ankle. "Well fuck" she gritted out in pain. Then she heard it. A rumble followed by clicks and she froze. She was no longer alone in this cave
