Ash grunted as she yet again walked into the brick wall that was bakuub. He looked over his shoulder in minor annoyance before turning into what she ahd learned was the kitchen. She had a heavy urge to flip him off as she walked behind him. Her bandaged leg causing it to be more of an annoying clank and limp. As he pointed to a chair she eyed the room then sat down.
She became distracted and nearly leapt from her seat when some dehydrated meat and fruits were put in front of her. She thanked him and nibbled at some of the meat as he eyed her. "You are seras blood... I am surprised she was not more careful" he said . His voice was still grainy and deep but he seemed to have a better time speaking. Maybe it was the difference in air? She herself was having a little bit of a time breathing the thick humid air.  She shrugged suddenly "I didn't tell her. Or anyone for that matter. Thought you were a crazy stalker before you jack rabbited onto my aunt's roof. " He trilled at her response with amusement before lifting her chin gently to look at him "how do you feel .  Knowing I did not lie?" She frowned as she thought about this, debating how she truly felt. She wasn't disgusted, or angry, or even distraught. She was accepting of her current situation and it made her wonder if she had a bolt loose up there. Nibbling her lip she finally spoke, "I'm shocked more than anything. I didn't believe your kind real but, you clearly are.. unless I'm in some sort of coma from my tumbles and my brains imagining it all."
He trilled In amusement before becoming serious once more "Ash.. I plan to keep you.. to bond you to me... To make you my mate." This made her pause in her eating and eye him curiously. She knew from him and most of the comics that his kinds females were strong and more desirable than a small human like herself so she wondered what he saw in her. How was she even worth his time? After all she wasn't strong , she wasn't a warrior. His smoldering eyes met her hazel ones and she took a deep breath before returning to nibbling her food. Indeed things had just drastically changed for her. She was no longer on Earth and good only knows if her aunt was safe.she was also tired.. very tired . .
As if sensing her tiredness he made his way around to her and lifted her before carrying her to their room. When the door opened back up she eyed the bed and then him. He clicked his tusks before laying gently on the bed "rest mate. We will bond tomorrow." Then with those words he left the room and she drifted off to sleep.
