So, I plan on finding that man, or whatever saved me a long time ago, today. Another thing I want to bring up is that I moved to a dog friendly hotel! They have a special room where their top priority is the dogs. They'll wash him, feed him fresh food from the cooks and groom him! I'm just happy he is safe. I don't know what I would do without my Makkachin...
Unfortunately, this hotel is not as close to the beach, so I have to ride a bus to and from for 15-30 minutes. I also bought fishing gear from a market half a mile away from the beach just in case. I also brought lunch, but I'm not eating it. It seemed the man smelled my food as I was eating it, so I'll try giving it to him, and see if he likes it! But I still don't understand one thing : What the hell is doing in the water? Not even I can hold my breath for long, I don't think anyone can hold their breath that long. I'm getting answers today.
Yuri's POV
I decided to listen to Phichit's advice and not try to go near him, but I really want to. His hair is so pretty and shiny. It's like a beautiful pearl. And he wasn't all that threatning to me, it was his dog that forced me back into the ocean. I hope to see him again, but from a distance.. So he won't see me..
Viktor's POV
I walked down the shoreline to an area where the sand was wetter and the water was closer, near me was a big rock, so I could maybe put my fishing gear on it. I opened the basket and inside was a katsudon bowl and fried shrimp with soy sauce dip. If the man is from the ocean, I don't think he'll be too happy I have cooked shrimp.
Yuri's POV
What is that delicious smell again?! It was the same one I smelled yesterday! Could it be? The man is here? I slowly raised my head above the water. It was the man, but no dog. He looked at me, again! But this time, he waved at me. I stuck my hand out of the water and timidly waved back at him. I swam closer to shore, where the scent got stronger. My full head appeared out of the water, looking at the food. "Do you want some?" I nodded.
The man reached into his basket, and pulled out a bowl and a white fork. He gave them both to me to use. I held the bowl in one hand, and the fork in the other. I have never used such utensils to eat, so I didn't know how to use the fork. He held my hand, and fixed the position of my fingers. "You hold it like this." "Thank you.." I said, awed at his ability to correct my fingers. "You spoke.." He said, a little louder. I was startled and scared that I might of triggered him, but he looked at me calmly, and so I calmed down again, this time, I fixed myself onto the sand to sit next to him, my tail flapping against the shallow water. I looked at him and his mouth was wide open. "I-I'm sorry! Did I do something wrong?" He slowly shook his head and said "It was you who saved my life." No!! How could of he known it was me?! I'm so bad at keeping myself hidden, here I am sitting next to a man I dont know who is-I took a bite out of food. It was the most extraordinary thing I have ever put in my mouth. My eyes glittered and watered as I was having a religious moment. "Do you like it?" The man asked. "Yeah!" I exclaimed happily. He smiled back at me and watched me eat the food."I'm glad you like it!" I filled my stomach with the meal. For all my life I just snacked on coral and algae. Is this what humans get to eat every day?! What I would give to have human legs.. Having a tail really limits what you can do... "Your tail is very pretty.." The man said. "Thank you.
" I said with my mouth filled with food. "What is your name?" He asked. I paused to swallow my food. "Yuri." I said.
"Viktor. Viktor Nikiforov."
I was filled with happiness, but I remembered I have friends and family in the sea. I had to say goodbye.
"Thank you for the food!"
Viktor waved goodbye as I leaped back into the ocean.
"Dasvidanya."
