I Forgive You

Ruby cradled Y/N as tightly, her head buried on nook of his neck.

"I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry!".

She wouldn't​ stop crying​, tears fell onto Y/N like the rain around him, pouring.

Her team, His team, Nora and Pyrrha arrived to see Ruby next to Y/N in a pool of blood. Her wails can be heard throughout​ the forest as he grow closer to death.

"Please say something, anything!".

"L...Like... What?".

"Stay with me Y/N, don't leave yet!".

"S...S..Stay, Why....Would you....Want me?".

"Because I don't want you to leave me!".

"You hated me, and...You shot me..A..And..Stabbed me".

He skin turned pale, he grew weaker and weaker. Ruby begged him to stay awake, that help will be here.

His teammates tried their best to save him, but Ruby's attack was to much for him. They stood beside him and thanked him for being a great teammate.

"It's been a pleasure fighting with you man".

"Don't worry, we won't forget you".

Y/N smiled and painfully​ tilted his head towards them.

"It's been a pleasure working with you too boys".

Yang ran next him and placed her hand on his chest. How slow his breathing, how weak he felt made her tear up.

"please don't leave us!".

Y/N grabbed her hand and held it, she looked at him teary eyed.

"Don't Yang, please don't cry".

That leaves Ruby...

She refused to give up hope, and used her semblance to carry Y/N towards the academy. But she soon stumbled and nearly fell, and almost dropping Y/N.

Now at the courtyard, she called for help, and attempt to carry Y/N.

He's in to much pain, and already lost enough blood to the point where it's no way he can live.

"Ruby... Just stop".

"I have to save you, I don't want you to die!".

"Ruby, it's...Okay".

"I lost my mother, I don't want to lose my best friend too!!".

Using the last of his strength, he hugged her. Doing his best to comfort her.

"Don't...Cry".

She continues to wail even louder, people began to crowd and watch. It didn't take long for her Uncle Qrow to show up.

"I lov...e you..".

"I love you too!!!".

They both kissed, Ruby held tighter than ever before. Her head rested on his. Sadly, he died during the kiss and went limp in her arms.

"Y/N....".

She tried to wake him up, but failed to do so. She realized that he is gone, and sobbed on his corpse.

"I never meant to hurt you".

Her uncle pulled her away from his body and comforted her.

The rest of the teams arrived, to see several people draping a white cloth over a body, and Ozpin and Qrow with a sobbing Ruby.

Jaune held Y/M's sword, he walked towards his body and planted it on the chest.

It's been rough night everyone​, Jaune and Ren felt guilty for Y/N going to save them.

His teammates laid in bed, sad that one bed in their dorm is empty. All of them praised and honored their fallen friend, by finishing his project.

For everyone else, they could hear Ruby wails through the entire night.
