Y/N awaited for this day, he nervously stood near the podium.
He clutched a shiny object in his hand.

Him, Ozpin, Qrow, and Glynda formed a plan. It only involved Y/N and Ruby.

[Ozpin POV]

Ruby trudged up the podium, still wearing her red cape as always.
She has grown up so much over the years, I'm proud for her.

She will be happy about the surprise planned for her, hopefully she will love the ring.

As she shook my hand, Y/N appeared behind her. He was in his gown and cap.

Her team, his team, JNPR, and CFVY stood by the see the moment.

Ruby's uncle, father, and Y/N parents stood nearby. Ruby turned around to see Y/N, holding something behind him.

"Ruby....".

"Y/N....".

"Ruby, ever since we met each other, i always felt safe and protected because of you. We have spent our entire childhood together, and i wish to spend my entire life with you".

"What do you mean?".

He then knelled down before her, and pulled out a box.

"Ruby Rose, will you marry me!?".

Opening the box, it revealed a ring with a ruby gem embedded in the center. On the side, it said "my very best friend".

Ruby's eyes widened and soon teared up.

"Yes, yes I'll marry you!".

Y/N placed the ring on her finger, she then immediately hugged Y/N.

Everyone cheered and clapped for them. Y/N picked up Ruby bridal style and both smiled for the camera.
