Harry and Hermione were sitting in their History of Magic class with the Ravenclaw's when suddenly Professor Binns was interrupted.

Ron burst in through the door with some pretty, giggling girl in Ravenclaw robes and loudly took a seat at the back of the room, staring straight towards the front. His hair was disheveled, and his tie was loose.

Hermione stared at him trying to get his attention, but he just continued to look straight ahead of him. She felt her cheeks heat up and tears well in her eyes.

What was he doing with her? He disappeared for almost two days, then shows up with some girl in another house and doesn't acknowledge her?

"Mione, are you alright?" Harry whispered to her.

"Yeah I'm completely fine," she replied cooly, holding back the tears that threatened to fall at any given moment.

"Is that not Hermione Granger's boyfriend that just walked in with Annabeth Chase?" she overheard a Ravenclaw girl ask her friend.

"That's suspicious. I'd hate to be Hermione right now, poor girl," her friend responded.

"I'd be incredibly embarrassed," the first girl agreed.

Hermione didn't know exactly what happened, but it was as if something inside of her snapped. She shoved all of her books into her bag and stormed out of the classroom.

She walked through the hallways hastily, with no particular destination in mind. There were now hot tears streaming down her face and she was sobbing uncontrollably.

Hermione felt her body make contact with something incredibly solid, and anticipated the fall. However, the fall never happened, as Theodore's arms were wrapped firmly around her waist.

"Granger darling, do you ever watch where you're going?"

"Not now Nott," she choked as she pushed him back. She started to walk away from him, keeping her eyes on the ground.

He grabbed her wrist and the girl reflexively flinched. He spun her back around to face him.

"Why not?" he inquired.

"Please just let me go Theodore, I'm not in the mood right now," she pleaded, keeping her eyes on the floor.

He put one finger under her chin tilting it up to look at her face.

"Woah what happened? Why are you crying?"

"Just let me go!" she shrieked, pushing him away from her.

"Was it the Weasel-King? What did he do? I'll hex him."

"Do you not take no for an answer?" she spat at him.

"No, not usually," he smirked.

"I just want to go back to my dorm."

"No we're going to go for a walk so you can tell me exactly why you're crying," he demanded, pushing her towards the entrance hall, leading to the school grounds.

"Don't you have classes?" she argued.

"Actually I took the day off claiming that I was having side effects from your hexes."
