"I can't say I'm particularly glad to be back," Blaise huffed.

"Well, I know I am," Hermione exclaimed.

"Yeah, it's only a matter of time before she abandons us for the library," Draco scoffed.

"Watch out Nott, Bathilda Bagshot's about to steal your girl," the Italian joked.

Pansy and Ginny erupted with laughter.

"I'm not even bothered, you know why? Because Granger would choose me over books any day. Wouldn't she?" he asked with a pointed look at his girlfriend.

     "Well..." she trailed of quietly.

"Hermione, you have to stop doing this. You're making me look bad!" he cried.

"Well I can't help it if it's the truth!"

     "Lie!"

"She's a Gryffindor mate, they are incapable unless for the 'greater good' or some idiocy like that," Blaise said with a shake of his head.

"What is this Slytherin logic?" Harry asked.

     "Accurate," Draco answered for him.

It was the groups first day back at Hogwarts, and they were sat in The Great Hall for breakfast, bickering as per usual.

"That's debatable," Hermione stated, her skepticism evident.

The boys were about to attempt to reason with the witch as to why their logic was always solid, when they were interrupted by their Headmistress.

"Ladies and gentlemen, I'm pleased to see you all before me once again. I hope that you enjoyed your break–," she paused when Blaise whistled loudly. "–And are ready to recommence classes." There were many boos and awes. "Enjoy you're day, and Mister Zabini, please do practise your manners when I am speaking."

Ginny smacked her boyfriend upside the back of his head while snickers and scoffs rang throughout the hall.

"Should I walk you to class, Granger? Or would you rather a book do it for me?" Theodore questioned.

"Don't be silly, Theo," she huffed.

      "That's what I—"

"Of course I'd rather a book do it for you," she finished off, a triumphant smirk on her face.

Harry, Draco, Blaise, Pansy and Ginny all laughed at Theodore as his cheeks burned. With what emotion, no one knew for sure.

"Let's just go, Granger. Before you humiliate me any further," he growled as he stood and helped her up.

She let out a soft laugh, "Okay, fine."

"Care of Magical Creatures this morning, if I remember correctly?" Theodore asked.

     "Yes, sir," she nodded.

Secretly, she was impressed that he knew her schedule.
