The Avengers; The Toughest Challege

Cat and Loki have been missing for a week now, and Thor said something about how he noticed a piece of the tesseract is missing. Either they are traveling to another world, or building a portal. I don't like either options.

I woke up to the shrill sound of the alarm in my room. I was about to slam my hand down on the snooze button, but then I vaguely remembered someone coming in my room and putting a tack on it. Probably Francesca. I sleep in a lot... I rolled out of bed a threw on my uniform, which was very uncomfortable.

I did the first thing I do every morning, and I made my way to the kitchen. I poured myself a bowl of cereal and opened the refrigerator to get the milk. I turned around and noticed Director Fury switching the bowl with another. I looked into the bowl and saw that my cereal had been replaced with some organic crap that looked like twigs rolled together. "Um, what are you doing?" I asked Nick, slightly annoyed. "If Loki and Cat are opening a portal, then you need to eat healthy so you can have energy to fight." He explained. "But I want my cinnamon toast crunch!" I whined. "No." He had a tone that signaled that this conversation was over, so I reluctantly sat at the table and ate the sticks, while I threw Fury a stubborn look.

When Tony came into the kitchen, he made himself a cup of coffee using this weird coffee maker that I guess he invented. Of course, Nick has to make everyone's morning terrible, and he tried to switch Tonys coffee with a healthy breakfast shake. "Yeah, how about no." Tony said sarcastically, as he grabbed the coffee cup from Nick.

"Meeting in thirty minutes, don't be late." Fury finished the sentence staring at me. I am forgetful...I looked down at the organic stuff in my bowl and walked over the the sink. I flipped a switch and all the twig things went down the garbage disposal. Now I can tell Nick I 'ate' it and I can make myself some bacon.

When I looked at my watch, I realized I was late for the meeting. again. Whatever. I leisurely walked to the meeting room. When I opened the door, I saw that only Fury was there. "Oh good. Your early, surprisingly." "What do you mean? I was running late." I asked, confused. "I told you the time of the meeting was 9:00. The meeting is really at 9:30." Nick had a grin of accomplishment on his face. "Anyway, we have more to discuss. First of all, this is about Cat. I hope you realize that you may have to kill her, right?" I had never thought about that..."Why would you say that?" I asked, kind of hurt. How could I kill my friend? "Well Loki may have her fight and I-" The meeting was cut short by Thor bursting through the doors panting heavily. "Sir! Sir! The portal was opened! Loki's army is coming into Two major city's! New York and Miami! Loki is leading in New York, Cat is leading in Miami! We have to fight, NOW!"
