I waited and waited for the doctor to come out of the room but no news.

"It'll be okay.." Taehyung tried to comfort me.

"I can't.. she's the only one I have left.. if she left me then I'm just nobody..."

"You're more than nobody."

"Mwo- doctor!!"

I walked up to him.

"How's my mom? Is she okay?"

He looked worried and sad at the same time. And then I knew it...

"No way.. it's not true right?"

"She has 5 minutes left. I couldn't do anything longer since she had her heart damaged."

"Omma.. omma..."

I then ran off with Taehyung to find her room. When I entered, she was on the bed lifeless.

"Omma..."

She look at me and I rushed beside her. I held her hand tightly as tears flows.

"Omma.. what happened to you? If you leave me then what am I suppose to do? I have no one left!"

"My lovely daughter.. Mianhae.. this is all I can do to stop them from hurting us. When you get home.. there's foods in the refrigerator and everything else in the house. Make sure to lock the door and stay safe."

"Omma.. I don't want to if you're not beside me!"

"Mianhaeyo.. and.."

The machine started to beep louder and louder and I looked at the machine. Her heart rate was dropping.

"O-omma.. Omma..!" I looked at her with teary eyes.

"Saranghae..." she whispered.

Then that's where it hits. She's gone.. forever...

"Omma!!!" I screamed.

I cried beside her as Taehyung stroke my back.

"I'm sorry for your loss.. I'll protect you from now on. I'll grant your mother wish." Taehyung said as he placed his hand on top of mine.

I looked at him still crying.

"Taehyung..."

He weakly smiled, "I can promise you that."

He then pulled me to a hug and I cried on his chest. The only person I have left was gone and I was left all alone. I have no one except Taehyung and Jimin.

"You better not leave me.. you must keep your promise!" I said still crying on his chest.

"Mhm.. I promise."

-Jimin's POV-

As soon as I arrived, the doctor was waiting for me. I walked up to him.

"Are they alive?"

"Mr.Park.. I apologize... They're dead."

"Mwo..?"

He then left me with the guards walking up to me.

"Young master, what will we do?"

"Prepare for the funeral.. I'll have to take over..."

"Yes master."

They then walked away and I sat down on the bench.

"Is this the karma they have to pay? If it is.. why is it soo harsh? Is it because Mi Soo paid her price by risking her life.. or was it because Mi Soo wanted this?"

I sighed and wiped my tears. I heavily walked back but I saw Mi Soo looking at me. I walked to her immediately and smiled.

"Mi Soo! Why are you here?"

"Jimin-ah.. can you do me a favor?"

"What is it? I'll do anything for you!"

"Protect my donsaeng. Don't leave her alone in the street, someone will do something to her."

"Who?"

She mouthed something.. Yeon?

"Please.. protect her..." she said as she drifted away from me.

I tried to grab her but she already dissapeared. Then I heard someone crying next room. I took a look and saw Eun Soo crying on Taehyung. I looked at the bed and saw..

"Emoni..."

I walked inside the house with Taehyung. He followed me to the kitchen room until I turned to him.

"You can leave if you want. I'm fine."

"Ani. I'm going to stay overnight. It's my job to protect you from now on."

"It's fine. I'll see you tomorrow."

"But-"

"Taehyung-ah..."

"Fine.. I'll go."

"Komawo..."

I sent him off and locked the door. Now this house is so damn quiet.

"I'm all alone now..."
