'How do I look?' Rapunzel turns around to face Anna.

'Don't move!' Anna shouts back. Anna is biting on her lip, while focussing on Rapunzel her hair. She makes a big braid in it and decorates it with lots of colourful flowers.

'Your hair is just so long...I know a lot about braids but...this is awkward...Not that you are awkward but I'm awkward and...'

Rapunzel laughs silently, while staring out of the window. Then she sees a big limousine coming into her street.

'Wow...' she whispers softly.

Before she knows it, Anna is standing right next to her, gazing through the window: 'Wow! Isn't he great! Kristoff would never do that for me...'

'Since when do you care about limousines?'

'I don't. I care about chocolate, and about you. Have a great time!'

'Are you sure that you want to stay here?'

Anna nods proudly 'Yup. If your mother calls, I'll pick up and say that you are safely at home. Besides...' she continues smirking 'I don't want to interrupt your night with Flynn.'

'It's Merida's birthday party...With a lot of people. It's not a date...' Rapunzel says, feeling a little sad.

Then the doorbell starts to ring. Anna screams and she wants to run to the door, but Rapunzel pushes her back.

Before she opens the door, she takes a deep breath. She peeks around the corner of the door and there he is, wearing a white blouse with a blue vest and jeans. It wasn't that fancy, but he looked great!

He stares at her, mesmerizing her 'Wow...Punzie...You look like a princess...' He reaches for her hand.

Rapunzel blushes and takes his hand, and they both walk to the limousine.

From the moment Rapunzel and Flynn entered Merida's house, Flynn was gone. Rapunzel searched for him around the house, but gave up eventually.

Maybe he just doesn't really care about me...

The thought of it made her for some reason really sad...Since when did she start to care about him that much? Was it true? Was she in love?

She walks to the table to get herself some punch, while scanning the crowd another time to find Flynn. Where did he go?

Then her phone starts to buzz. She looks at the display before replying. Her heart skips a beat when she sees the name.

'H-hey...' she says, mentally facepalming herself. Really Rapunzel, that's the best you can say?

'Hey Punzie, can you do me a favour?' Flynn asks.

'Uhm...Sure...'

'Can you come outside?'

Rapunzel looks at the door leading to the garden. 'Okay.'

She walks through the partying crowd, spotting a hyperactive Merida pretending to kill a bear.

When she opens the door, a warm summer breeze starts to blow through the garden.

'Punzie!'

Rapunzel spins around, and there is Flynn Rider, sitting in the grass, holding something behind his back. He pats the spot next to him. Rapunzel blushes a bit when she sits down.

'Where were you? Have you been here all the time?'

Flynn scratches his neck 'Actually, yes...Because I prepared something for you...I-I mean...You said..Well...Maybe I should start at the beginning.' He chuckles.

'You remember that time in the library? Where you said that I should find a new dream? Well, I once red that if you write your wish on a floating lantern...It surely will come true.'

Behind his back he grabs the floating lantern he was hiding.

He also grabs a pencil and starts to carefully write down his wish

Being accepted the way I am.

'This is...unbelievable,' Rapunzel whispers 'But I want you to know, that I already accept you the way you are, Flynn Rider.'

Flynn smiles gently, as he says: 'Eugene.'

Rapunzel looks at him with an confused expression on her face 'What?'

'My real name is Eugene...My adoptive parents called me Flynn Rider, 'cause nobody likes a Eugune Fitzherbert.' Eugene looks at his feet.

Rapunzel puts her hand on his shoulder 'I think I like Eugene more than Flynn Rider actually.'

Eugene smiles at her and he gives her the pencil. 'What is your new dream Punzie?'

Rapunzel bites her lip, looking at the lantern. 'Freedom...' she says, while writing it down.

'Freedom from...What?'

Rapunzel shrugs 'I don't know...'

Eugene pulls her closer, wrapping his arm around her 'Yes you do.'

'My mother...She can be so demanding and strict...Everything feels like a punishment...I always wanted to be free, to leave this place forever...' she stays quiet for a while 'But...Since you are here...I don't really want to leave anymore...I want to stay...With you...You know what I mean?'

He smiles reassuring at her 'I'm starting to...'

The two look at each other and then at the lantern. Eugene lights the candle and Rapunzel throws it softly in the air. The lantern starts to float, gently on the summer breeze.

Rapunzel lays her head on Eugene's shoulder 'What if our dreams come true?

'Well, that's the good part, I guess. You get to go find a new dream. And sometimes, a new dream can be closer than you think...'

He looks at her, not with his smoulder, but with a sweet, loving smile.

Rapunzel smiles back, whishing that this moment would never end.

Then, slowly and a bit shy, Eugene starts to lean in, cupping her face gently.

Rapunzel slowly closes her eyes, waiting for their lips to touch.

Eugene, her heart whispers.

Just before their lips meet, Rapunzel's phone starts to buzz.

Annoyed, Rapunzel pulls back and looks at the display...It's Anna.

'Hello Anna, are you okay?' she answers the phone.

It stays silent for a while...'This is not Anna...'
