As we turned into my driveway, I smiled at her, she was so beautiful. She looked like me in a way. Brown hair, blue/green eyes, pretty smile. I didn't really like what she was wearing though.. It made her bottom stand out in those pants.
I would change that."Would you like to come in for Coffee?" I asked sweetly so she couldn't refuse.
"Oh I would but I should go." She tried to act kind.
"For driving me home it's the least I can do. Please it would mean so much to me." I grabbed her hand out of innocence.
"Okay sure why not, we are in the same area, I haven't got anything else to do today." She smiled sweetly and we both got out of the car.
She locked up and came inside. I noticed she had left her handbag in her car. Good I thought this would make things easier.
I showed her round and admitted that it wasn't all that flash. She thought it was beautiful.
"I don't actually live up here though my neighbours do, I live down stairs, please come with me, I wouldn't want to intrude their privacy." I smiled keeping it casual knowing this wasn't going to be our family house at all I found the key on top of the pillar and broke in. They had a basement though I made sure. That way I could keep her there and then move her with her own car.
We went down to the basement and it was dark and crap. I pushed her down the stairs and made her roll down she screamed and then went quiet. Good she was knocked out.
I had to keep her quiet so I fed three sleeping pills down her throat I know they went down because she started to gag and wake up. I put duct tape over her mouth and tied her to a chair I found.
I knew we could get out the basement door with no problems this key opened up both doors in the house. I'd been eyeing off this house for a few weeks. I knew the family were at work so we had until 6 to get out of here. It was so quiet in this street, I wish I really did live here sometimes.
It was five o'clock and being Winter it had started to get dark already. I opened the door Krystella was fast asleep still, I took her keys out of her pocket and went to the car and reversed it back into the driveway so I didn't have to move her so far. I opened the boot and went back inside. I untied her and hobbled her to the car. Picked her up 'dammit my back.' I placed her into the boot and shut it. I went back down and locked the basement door. And put the key back on the pillar got back in the car, and drove away.
*********************
It took about forty five minutes to get to where I actually lived. But I couldn't have my daughters knowing just yet. I had to make sure they liked living here first, adjust to the neighbourhood then they could know.
It took 15 minutes just to get down my driveway itself. I pulled up at my house and pulled Krystella out of the boot she would wake up in about six hours if I counted correctly. I hobbled with her down the back and opened my back door it was quicker to the basement then. I pulled her down the stairs and dragged her to her room, I placed her on her bed and positioned her so she was comfortable she wasn't too dirty, she could have a shower when she woke up. I cleaned the graze off her head and put a band-aid on it. I ripped the duck tape off her mouth she didn't even budge. Good I used decent tablets this time. I stuffed up last time with my Krystella. This time I won't fail. Not again.
I kissed her on her forehead put the blankets on her and closed the door and clicked in the lock behind me. I always made sure the lock was on the outside. ALWAYS.
I went back outside it was dark now, and I got back into her car made sure I had her handbag in there with me, wow she had three hundred dollars in her bag.. I'll keep that. I will need a taxi to get home after this.
************************
I drove for about an hour, I ended up near a big ditch. I took the cash out of her wallet and chucked it on the seat. I left the car running, took out the petrol tin from the back I smelt it, she's used it before I chucked that on the seat too, took the handbrake off the car, lit the match and threw it in the window I broke and ran as fast as I could away from the car. I found a tree to hide behind, but I could still see it.
******************
Not having petrol took a little longer, but I saw the car explode along with a huge BANG!!!The car bounced off the end of the ditch, Perfectly done Angie! I whispered to myself.
I got up once it was gone and walked for a bit to a petrol station. Only took me about 15 minutes to walk until I saw one."Hi excuse me, may I please use your phone to call a taxi? I got off work later than expected my lift didn't show up, I forgot my phone today." I smiled at the cashier.
"Of course ma'am I'll call one for you." He replied.
"Thank you very much." I went and waited outside.
******************
"Ma'am your taxi will be here in the next five minutes." The cashier informed me.
"Thank you." I called back over my shoulder.
*********************
Ten minutes later..
"Ma'am did you call for a taxi?" The driver peered out of her window and asked me.
"Yes please." I smiled as I got up to go to the front seat.
"Where too tonight ma'am?"
"Thirty-Four Tedusvale Drive, Elenvillage." I stated.
"No problem ma'am, we will arrive in about one hour." She smiled as she pulled out of the petrol stations car park.
"That's fine." I said and turned to look out the window.
It's so still, the night.. full of so many mysteries.. so nice to explore. Though I guess you have to be a type of person to like the dark. You can't be afraid of the dark, or the dark knows you're afraid of it and makes it scary. Young girls like Krystella would never be walking around in the dark like that. They could get kidnapped! I giggled to myself in my head so no one heard. Me though I've never been scared of the dark.. The dark always feared me. I've been alone since I can remember. Foster home after foster home.. the only thing you feel is alone.
**************
"Thanks here will be fine." I said stopping at the top of my driveway.
"No problem, ninety - three sixty." She smiled
"Change for one hundred." "Six dollars forty change. Thanks ma'am have a good night." She said smiling.
"Thank you. You too." I said stepping out of the taxi.
A big smile crept over my face as I was walking down. Soon my baby girl and I would be face to face. I can't wait.
