One night, after Jimmy and I had dinner at his apartment, we went for a walk. As we were walking past Grant Park, we heard a car crash into the lake. We ran towards the accident scene, while we were running, I called 911 and explained what happened and where we were. After I put my phone in my jacket pocket, I took that and my shoes off and ran to lift, along with a few bystanders, the front of the car and push it out of the water. Luckily, 51 and another company came just in time to help Borrelli get the victim out of the car.  I happened to look in a window of the car and saw two young children in the backseat, crying. As soon as we got the car out of the water, I and a bystander got the children out and we rushed them to Gabby and Sylvie's ambulance. They were fine, but their mother...who looked about six months pregnant...was unconscious.

"Dawson! Brett! We have an unconscious mother here!" Jimmy yelled.  They rushed over with a kit and the stretcher and began CPR. They put a fetal monitor on her stomach and started her on a saline drip after she was revived. Then, they rushed her to the hospital. Her children, too, in a different ambulance. I stood in shock. "You alright, sweetheart?" Jimmy asked. "Yes, honey. I'm alright." I replied. After talking with each other and 51, Jimmy took me home. After he led me to my door, I gently wrapped my arms around his neck and asked...in curiosity..."How does it feel saving lives again?" He smiled, kissed my forehead and said, "It's rewarding." At that moment, my phone rang and I answered it...it was Halstead, "Hey Halstead. What's up?" He told me that the mother and her unborn baby were okay and so were her young children, a 4 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, were okay too, just minor bumps and bruises. "Thanks for the update, Doc! Good night!" I hung up and grinned,"The mother and her children, including the unborn baby are okay!" "That's great! Hey, maybe I'll train again, become a paramedic....and maybe, just maybe talk Boden into it." He replied. We laughed and kissed each other good night. Then, I went into my apartment and pondered.
