TRAPPED - Hamilstory

Chapter 7

All of a sudden the tv turned on and we all looked at it. It was the old lady. She had a video that she was broadcasting live.

"Well kids! I see you found John." She frowned. "But now you have to get him out! Now you might be wondering how you do that. Well, I will give you one clue that leads to another. Then another. And so on. So basically it's a scavenger hunt to find the key! Fun right?!" We all just stared at her.

"Okay......the first clue is in the book labeled How to Kill a Mockingchild. Good luck!" The tv shut off. All I wanted to do was hug John so I rain to the bookshelf and looked all around.

I looked and looked for a while. But there was no sight of that dumb book! I searched and searched forever. 

"Okay. I give up. There is no book labeled How to Kill a Mockingchild. It must be hidden." Eliza whined. "ELIZA! THAT'S A GREAT IDEA" Angelica yelled. "Everyone look under everything!" 

So that's what we did. We threw cushions off the couch, threw a few books off the shelves, and when we did so we found a hidden safe. Then, once again the old lady broadcasted live. "I see you have found the safe. Inside that safe there is a key. That key opens up the upstairs door so you all can leave. But first you must find the key to open up your friend. Good luck!"

We all sighed and kept looking. Hercules went upstairs and started pounding on the door. "Let us out!" he said. But that was no use. He walked down stairs and then up again thinking. 

Then, in a flash, one of the stairs flew up from under him and he came crashing down the stairs. "Hercules! mon amour are you okay?!" Lafayette came running towards him. "mon amour...?" I said. That means 'my love'....whatever. While everyone comforted hurt Hercules, I walked over to the stair that broke. I gasped and everyone went silent. 

There was a box and I took it out.
