Alex's POV
This was not a good idea. I hate butterscotch candy!! Also, I've read numerous books about kids being kidnapped. Hercules ran downstairs giggling. "Herc no!" I ran after him and everyone followed.
The light was off. "Oh I should go grab my flashlight. I will be right back." the old lady walked upstairs and we waited down here. She laughed evilly and slammed the door. I heard her lock it. Were we just kidnapped? I screamed, Eliza, screamed, Hercules giggled again. "So, wheres the candy?" Hercules asked.
"We were just kidnapped you idiot!" Angelica yelled. "I'll get the light..." Laf said and felt the walls looking for a light switch. All around was pitch black. We could not see a thing. I swear I heard Hercules fall or something.
"Aha! I have found it." he flipped it and all the lights turned on. It was a really cool and cozy room. There were many decorations and books. It wasn't too bad here.

I read all the books on the shelves. I was not familiar with any of them. They had really stupid names like "The pole" or "Hidden notes". To be honest, I wouldn't actually mind staying down here for a while. It's a better place then my foster home.
Suddenly we all heard someone say something. "D-did you guys hear that?" Eliza said shaking. I got confused because I could have sworn it sounded just like a little girl screaming. Then I gasped and ran to the closet near me. I almost broke down crying to the sight I saw.
