Chapter 2

Melina's POV

I heard someone come inside the room. The person was sniffling. Crying possibly? I didn't know why. Until it hit me. That cunt Josh hurt me pretty bad. The person crying was Cameron.

"Mel. I don't know if you can hear me but I just wanted to say you are my life. Please wake up. The past 11 months and 17 days have been the best days of my life." he pauses. "I love you Melina. Please wake up."

"I love you too Cam." I said back. I open my eyes and start crying at how he looks. He looks terrible. Bags under his eyes with dark circles, and red blood-shot eyes that are very puffy.

He looks at me in shook then soon says "oh my god Mel" then hugs me, " your awake. the past few days were hell."

"How long have I been asleep?" I asked

"4 days. I stayed here every day. I wanted to be the first person you see when you wake up" I smiled. He continues "I missed you sooo much Mel. You don't even know."

"i love you Cam." I say then kiss him.

"I haven't even eaten anything." he looks down.

"Cam go eat something right now or I will get up and buy some and shove it down your throat." I say

"But I don't want to leave you"

"I'll be fine. You were the first one I saw when I woke up."

"Ok ok I'll go. Want anything?" I shake my head no. Soon a nurse walks in and starts looking a Cameron while smiling and sticking out her chest.

I clear my throat so she would stop and she looked at me and rolled her eyes and started to talk. "Good to see your finally awake" giving me a fake smile and I do the same in return.

"When do I get out of here?" I asked

"Tomorrow Hun" she says rolling her eyes . I do the same. She then give Cameron a piece of paper. Probably her phone number.

"If you and this chick don't work out, give me a call." she says in a "sweet" voice.

"No thanks." Cam says while ripping up the paper.

------(tomorrow when Mel leaves) Melina's POV still

"Alright hun your free to go" the same nurse that was hitting on Cameron said.

"thanks" I say rolling my eyes.

"Ready?" Cam asks.

"More than ever" I say

"Mel your home" my mom says running up to me then hugs me tightly to the point where I yelp. I was still very sore. "Sorry baby"

"It's okay. I'm happy I'm finally home"

"same sweety" she pauses to take a sip of her water then continues "I'm sorry that happened to you" she says while crying.

"It's not you fault mom. At least Cameron came before something worst happened" I turn and give Cam a small smile.

My mom runs up to him and gives him a big hug. "Thank you so much Cameron."

"No problem. I just want to protect Mel. You don't know how much I love her Mrs. Jones." he smiles and walks up to me and kisses me.

Man I love this boy.

Someone then walks in through the front door and I saw Noah and I ran up to him jumping on him.

"Mel your finally home" he says giving me a kiss on the cheek.
