Chapter 18

\\Melina's POV//

"Hey, Mel" I turn and see one of my old best friends, Jamie. She commited suicide in 7th grade and it was pretty hard to deal with.

"J-Jamie?" i say.

She nods, smiles and says, "That would be my name"

"How am I seeing you?" I ask.

"Honestly I don't know. But Mel, you have to wake up. Go to your family that needs you"

"Where am I?" I ask.

"Right now your in the hospital. You got shot"

"What.. how?"

"you were being a mom and tried to save your daughter and plans went wrong" she says.

"Oh" Is all I say.

"Melina wake up and live your life" she says "Wake up, wake up, wake up"

"Melina please wake up" that voice didn't come from Jamie though..

I slightly open my eyes but close them again. The light from the hospital practically blinded me.

"Mom?" I turn my head and see my 3 kids staring at me with bloodshot eyes.

I smile. They attack me with hugs but I wince at the pain coming from my lower stomach. They pull away and looked sorry.

"Where's dad?" I ask.

"He went to get food with everyone" Jacob says.

"Who's everyone?" I ask.

"The boys and the girls" he says (Nash,Jack and Jack, Shawn, Taylor, Matt, Carter,Aaron, Lexi, Isabella and Leyli) {A/N: can't really call them magcon boys anymore *cries*}

"Ok-" I stopped talking and looked at the door. They were all walking in and when they saw me, they smiled widely.

"Mel!" Cameron yells and kisses me. "I missed you" he says.

"Missed you too" I say.

"Melina, you are free to go" the doctor says.

"Let's go" I say to everyone and walk outside.

We get inside the car and when we got home, I ran up stairs and fell asleep instantly.

The next morning, I got up and went outside just to breath in the hot, summer air.

I pull out my phone and open the group conversation with the boys and the girls.

"Beach day?" I ask in the message.

Everyone said yes. Cameron, the kids and I all got changed into our bathing suits.

I picked out a strapless peach color bikini, a California big tank top with black shorts.

I threw my bikini on and looked in the mirror. I saw the scar on my lower stomach and sighed.

It's okay, Melina.

I walk downstairs and grab my beach bag and we all head out.

All of us picked a spot on the beach. I stayed out for a while to tan but someone lifted me up.

I saw Cameron smirking at me and started running to the water. We get into the water and his hands go around my waist.

"I love you" he says.

"I love you too" I say and kiss him.

"Ew stop!" Lexi says and splashes us.

We both splash her back and it just turned into a water fight. Everyone joins in.

Everyone laughs while splashing one another.

I take a moment to just look at them.

To think about what I've been through with them. They became my best friends.

My girls, they have always been there for me, the thicks and the thins. Always by my side.

My boys, they were always protective over me. Always there for me when I needed someone.

Cameron, he has been the best. The worlds best husband anyone could ever have. We made 3 children that I love and care for with all my heart. I am selfless when it comes to them. Cameron will always be my soulmate, my best friend, my husband and my other half that I can't live without.

We got our dream job basically. Always used to use twitter and wanted to work for it, it finally happened.

Cameron and I are no where near breaking. The relationship we have is strong. We will grow old together and die together.

We've had our life problems, all the conflicts that get in the way. But Cameron never left me. We never left each other.

We are Meant to Be.
