9. Jewel, is that you?

Jewel's POV

I don't know what I was thinking but, I woke up and I was leaning on chanyeol's shoulders and holding his hand.😓

I ran to the exit as soon as I woke up and saw him looking at me.

This is soooo embarrassing jinjja...🙇😫

We all went to the van which will take us to the 'dad'.

I kinda forgot that we came here because of that. Why the hell did I agree? Its not like I miss him or anything...he probably never missed me once.

"Kim Jewel-ssi, let's go." Kai said, I didn't realise I was the only one who haven't gone to the van yet.

I slapped my head before going in, what's wrong with me today? I keep spacing out lately...

I sat next to suho who seemed to be focusing on his phone. I avoided eye contact with chanyeol the whole ride. I'm still awkward about it, he saw my weakness, the least thing I want for people to see is me being weak, and most of all I hate 'awkward situations' which happened all in one day, how great!😒

And to make it worse it happened to the least person I want it to happen.😒 today really is a bad day for me.

We arrived at the hotel where I was welcomed by Lee Soo Man ahjussi. I apologised for coming so late and he understood, he was actually very nice so I got comfortable with him.

Its a relief cuz all the people around makes me uncomfortable.

"So...we'll have the meeting first thing in the morning." Mr. Lee said. "Jewel-ssi, you know where your dad is right?" He added.

I nodded, "nae...he's staying at our villa here in Tokyo." I answered. He just nodded and pat my back, "get some rest here in the hotel, you must be tired...boys show her to her room."

Some of them groaned, some of them scoffed, some of them ignored, and someone happily doing it.

What's wrong with this Yoda.

"Here's your room." Suho said and left. "If you ever get bored, call me I'm just one door away *wink*" kai said with a flirty look, chanyeol and kyungsoo dragged him outside. the others left the room as well.

"Is she a princess or something?" I heard Chen from outside the room. I just ignored him, why? Did I ask to be treated this way? Its because of looks dummy...even though I don't dress up femininely I'm still hot, can't judge people for being nice to me. Nope!

I laid on my bed, trying my best to fall asleep, but I just couldn't! Why can't I stop thinking about what happened in the airplane?! I'm really going nuts.

Something's happening to me...like a feeling I can't describe! Its torturing me! Urgh! I need fresh air...

I went out to the garden of the hotel, "waaah...its gorgeous, Japan's flowers are the best, there's even a cherry tree! Daebak!" I was so mesmerised by the garden its really beautiful not to mention its night time and stars are filling up the sky... Its actually better then the ones at home.

"Ughhmm..." I turned to the person who I heard cleared his throat.

"You here alone?" He said in his deep voice.

Why is this Yoda here again!

"What are you doing here?" I asked wit a straight face.

"I came to freshen up, but saw you here so..." He trailed off.

"You know what, are you stalking me?" I said slightly irritated.

"What? Nope, I should ask you that question! Your there everywhere I go!" He fought back.

"Chill..." I said calming him down while I sat on a bench.

He sat beside me.

"Why aren't you with the others?" I asked trying to start a conversation, I don't want to be in an awkward situation.

"They're going wild in there..." He answered.

"Wild? Aren't they tired from the flight?" I asked again still keeping my straight face.

"Well, it's been a while since we had a break from all the practice, they're probably celebrating like wild animals now." He said with a slight laugh.

I don't know why I did but, I smiled at him.

A smile I haven't done in many years, a sincere smile.

I couldn't see what chanyeol did next, everything went blurry in a second. The next thing I know I blacked out.

Chanyeol's POV

She...smiled?

Wha-what?

She fell but I catched her. Is she drunk?

Oh? She woke up...

"Jewel are you okay?" I aksed.

"Oh? Chanyeol oppa😍..." She said, it almost made me choke my tongue from surprise.

"Oppa are you alright?" She said while patting my back, I was still catching my breath.

"By the way where are we? Let's go join the others, okay?" She said, while she stood up and pulled my hand to make me stand up.

She looked different, her eyes was yellow when she opened them. I looked around, I saw bottles of soju and a cup on the table not far from where we were, I threw the soju in the trashcan.

"She must've been drinking." I said in a whisper.

"Yah, oppa kaja!" She said while she was gesturing for me to hurry.

I was awkwardly following her, I'm used to her being like this, she smiles a lot and says oppa...

I think I may be dreaming.

She went inside the room where the other guys are.

"Jewel? Why are you here?" Chen told her and then looked at me.

I just shrugged. All the guys seemed to be confused. The truth is I'm as confused as they are.

"Oppa what are you talking about? I'm her to join you." She said while coming closer to them.

They all looked at each other, even more confused.

"O-oppa?" Kai asked disbelieving what he just heard.

"Nae, what are you guys playing? Can I join." She asked them.

I was frozen on the door, I wanted to bang my head on the door to wake me up if this was a dream, but I couldn't.

They all looked at me, expecting for answers.

"What?" I asked.

"Is she drunk?" Kyungsoo asked.

I shrugged, "Maybe." I said.

They all nodded, understanding the situation.

But I don't think so, I don't smell alcohol from her.

The other guys let jewel play various games with them, they took advantage of jewel because she's drunk, they said they liked her that way than the snob jewel they met. They weren't wierded out by her yellow eyes, they thought it was just contact lenses.

I don't think it is.

Something's weird here.
