Jewel's POV

I found myself back at the backyard where the tree was while waiting for the guys.

I keep staring at the prints, I still can't believe how our family turned out...

Flashback

Jewel and Lucy her mom, was inside their car, going to the grand hall where jewel's party is at.

"Eomma...is dad coming to my party this year?" Jewel asked her mom.

Lucy couldn't resist her daughter's eyes, it turned to a sky blue dye, which meant she's sad.

"Yeah, your dad's finally coming..." She lied. Jewel's eyes immediately turned yellow, they were sparkling.

"Jinjja! Heol..." Jewel cheered happily.

And at the sight, lucy knew she can't withdraw her words, she gave her daughter false hope for she knew her husband can't come again this year.

She decided on persuading her husband to come, to not break their princess's heart.

(At the party)

"Eomma is appa really coming?" Jewel said doubting her mom.

"Ne,ne..he'll definitely come, don't worry." She lied again.

Lucy became restless, she needed to find a way for her husband to come to the party. Some of her friends told her to relax and tell her daughter the truth, she imagined her daughter's face if she knew. She couldn't handle it, she she had to go fetch him.
