15. In one roof

Jewel's POV

I was staring into nothingness, as I try to sink in the words my dad told me earlier.

"You're gonna have to live with exo for a while...just until we finish the job of you know...the rumors, you might be attacked by fans or worse, so its a must for you to stay somewhere else, plus your ahjumma is not here. Don't worry they won't do anything to you so its fine. Its the only solution jewel."

How in the world is this a solution!

"Hey, are you just gonna stare? Aren't you coming into OUR house?" Chen teased and laughed so hard. I just glared at him. How can this clown joke at this situation.

I tried comforting myself, and stepped inside the unfamiliar house with my luggage.

The house is big enough to fit us 10 people, but it kinda looks dull and deserted. Spooky though...

I got shivers down my spine thinking about ghosts. ≈.≈

I put my luggage inside my said 'room'. I can hear the boys fighting over the rooms, also suho trying to settle them down. I sighed.

I'll be living wit these crazy monkeys...my ghad! Its gonna be a hectic year!🙀

I mean- who knows I might be here for a week or so- or maybe a month? A year? What if...seolma...FOREVER?!?!

"Noooo..." I suddenly yelled allowed.

"Jewel? You okay?" Suho suddenly popped out of my room.

"Yeah- yes I'm fine!" I said closing the door again.

"Sheesh, just trying to help." Suho shrugged.

I leaned on my door and slid down. I buried my face into my hands.

"Its actually my fault, I'm in this mess. Ugh! And its my fault Exo's career is probably in its way to extinction."

I sighed.

I stood up and settled my bags, and made my way to the living room.

I was approached by 9 blank stares.

I went closer and looked down, trying to say a word I thought I'd never say in front of these goons.

"I- I..." I stuttered, trying hard not to choke.

"What was that?" Chen teased, AGAIN.

I was obviously pissed...but I had to get it out my system. I ignored him.

I bowed in front of them, 90 degrees.

"I'm sorry...*lifted head* its my fault your probably having a hard time right now...if I just have gone with you guys the first time, we wouldn't be in this mess *bowed again* again I'm sorry." I finally said, this time I was teary eyed.

Then suddenly I felt a warm hand stroke my back.

"Its okay cutie," kai smiled.

"Yeah, its school and it was important." D.O. said smiling as well. That heart smile of his.
