Chapter 2 Why are you like that?

I woke up this morning and of course Grayson was up to something,"you sleep a lot em" he said "because it's just 8 am on a Sunday morning Grayson!" I said as I got out of bed.

"Do you have any plans today?" Grayson asked.

"Ya, I am going to Mike's house for an assignment" I replied. He didn't say anything so I said "oh and I am sorry i didn't ask before but how's Ethan and Cameron?"
"they are good" he smiled "and um how is Ashley, are you guys still together?" I asked even when I didn't want to because things between me and Ashley were never really good and plus she was pretty much the reason of Grayson being my ex best friend. Anyway "she is also good and i don't really know if we are together or not." he said, I thought it was a sad reply so i didn't say anything.

"Is mike someone special" Grayson asked.I don't know why but I lied and said "ya we are really close, he is an amazing guy" which by the way was a lie, I hated Mike! He is a total flirt. "oh, can i come with you..I mean just because I don't want to get bored at home,you know" he asked. "Okay i will tell Mike" I said.Then i told him to get ready and after taking a shower we both had breakfast and headed out.

We both walked to Mike's house as it wasn't too far,we talked about Ethan and Cameron on the way.

After we reached I introduced Mike To Grayson. Grayson was helping us with the assignment while Mike was doing something he was good at,yes that is annoying me. "You are looking even prettier today em"said Mike i looked at him in anger because I only allow my friends to call me em but before I could say anything Grayson hopped in and said "Dude don't call her Em! only i can call her that and don't you dare flirt with her"

I wanted to say something but this time Mike hopped in and said "Take it easy bro and why does it bother you that much, huh?" with a smirk kind of expression on his face, I looked at Grayson's face and it seemed like he was about to slap Mike so without wasting any more time I shouted
"Guys!! I think we did enough work for today so now Grayson and I are going back home and Mike we can complete this over the phone, Bye Mike" I quickly picked up all my books, took Grayson's hand and walked straight out.

"What the hell do you think you were doing?!" I screamed.

"What do you mean? "Grayson asked innocently as if he didn't know

"Gray! You looked like you were about to hit him!" I said freaking out.

Grayson looked down and said "H-he was hitting on you"

"He wasn't Gray! It's just the way he is" I said "and why would that bother you!? It's not like you are my boyfriend or something!" I continued.

"Look Em I am sorry okay! I promise not to do something like that ever again" he said.

"I know you won't, it's just that it was a small thing and I got super scared because I have seen you like that during the Ashley thin-" I stopped talking as I should not have mention the Ashley thing (you will find out soon)

"That was a mistake Em...I would never hurt you again like I did that time" he looked down.

I could feel tears in my eyes because the whole scene came to my mind and also the time when grayson slapped me- and... nevermind,I gave him a reassuring smile and said "I know".

No Em don't! You can't fall for him all over again, the last time you did he was about to find out and then Ashley happened.Why is he like that,why do i fall for him evreytime i see him.
