Louis' POV
"You like it?"
I asked, grinning as he turned up the volume, nodding vigorously.
We were currently in a small cafe, bundled up in scarves, beanies and jackets. There were nobody with us, just an old man who was looking at us suspiciously.
Who could blame him?
We were covered from head to toe, with sunglasses and earmuffs.
I turned back to Harry as he fiddled with my phone, replaying the song. We had one earpiece in each of our ears and he closed his eyes as he listened to the lyrics. The rain thudded on the stained glass and the smell of coffee drifted from Harry's cup.
He began humming under his breath when it reached the chorus and I muttered the words...
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
And I can't change
Even if I tried
Even if I wanted to
I drummed my fingers on the table, thinking of which keys to use on the piano if I played it.
"We've got to meet Macklemore some day." Harry announced, shifting closer to me, putting his head on my shoulder.
His curls tickled my cheek and I smoothed them down. Harry sighed
in contentment.
I twirled a curl around my finger, sighing. I had to break it to him.
I couldn't keep my emotions bottled up anymore.
Now or never.
"Harry."
"Mmm?"
"Umm..."
He sat up, searching my face.
"Whats wrong?" He questioned, tilting his head to the side. God damn. He looked so adorable.
"I..I.."
Instead, I smashed my lips on his. His lips were warm and had an aftertaste of coffee, I could feel him gasp in my mouth and kissed me back. I pulled him closer and wrapped an arm around his neck, the piano keys clinking in our ears.
Shit.
I pulled away and saw there was a tinge of pink on his cheeks.
"Louis."
It gave me the chills when he said my name.
Oh god. What have I done?
