(Y/n) POV:

"You talk?!" I yelled in surprise and backed away from the tree.

"Wow...I never heard of a talking pinetree before..." I continued and sat once again. I made myself warm.

"You also call me Pinetree huh?" it asked. I rolled eyes.

"Duh, because you are one." I replied.

"Well can I see your face?" I asked.

"I don't trust you." It replied. I nodded.

"Trust no one, right?"

"Correct." It agreed. I laid my back on the rough bark.

"It's so hard to trust nowadays." I said.

"You don't know if they are telling the truth or they are lying." It said.

"You don't know if they are real or not."

"Friend or Foe?"

"Family or Enemy?"

"It's so hard to tell the difference!" We both said at the same time. There was a silence and we both laughed.

"You been through it also?" I asked.

"Yeah but now it's not that bad." It said and sighed.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I am trusting you. A complete stranger with how I feel. The goes totally against my whole 'Trust no One' thing." it said. I shrugged.

"Then that goes the same for me too." I replied and stared at the stars. I nust noticed the this was a small clearing the only way that block us is the Pinetree.

"Can you tell me your name please?" I begged it. It was silent till it made up it's decision.

"Dipper." It said.

"(Y/n)" I offered. There was more silence till I broke it.

"So... you're not a tree?" I said.

"Oh god no!" It said.

"Boy or Girl?" I asked.

"Boy." I flinched. It was a boy. I never got to talk to a boy like this. I was always nervous around them.

"You" he asked. I took a deep breath.

"A girl."

Dipper POV:

"A girl." I can't believe I am talking to a girl without being nervous. Turns out it's better to talk to them behind a tree.

"Oh..."

We stayed in silence for a while and she broke it again.

"Can I be your friend?" She asked and I thought about the events with Mabel and compared it to her.

"Yes." I replied.

"Can I trust you?" She asked.

"Only if I can trust you." I replied.

"Touché." She said and I though for moment.

"I trust you." We both said at the same time. I smiled and got up I walked around the tree to look at her. She is beautiful and looks around my age. Her long wavy brown hair that is up to her waist. She is wearing a headband with a flower in it. Her green eyes shone like emeralds but was a little puffy feom crying I think. She was fair skinned and she was wearing a short green dress. It was a summer dress. She had a golden locket around her neck. She looked up and looked at me and smiled. I smiled back. I held out mu hand out to her and she gratefully took it. When she stood up she was a bit shorter than me.

The sun was up and all of the forest was illuminated. It was beautiful.

"Thanks for trusting me Dipper." She said.

"Thank you for trusting me!" I said softly. My voice cracked a little but we were in a moment.

"Let's seal this with a handshake or something."

"Please no!" I yelled. It reminds me of Bill too much. She looked at me puzzled but just shrugged.

"Then let us call this our special place then." She said sadly and began to walk away.

"Wait!" I exclaimed and grabbed her. I spun her around and kissed her. She kissed back and it felt fireworks erupted around us. It was only a few seconds when a squeal interrupted us and we broke away. We were blushing madly and we lookwes in the direction of the sound. It was in the bushes and three figures popped out. (Y/n) went behind me and I shielded her. But  I just felt a embarassed by the people who popped out.
