Dipper POV:

"M-mabel?!" I asked.

"The one and only!" She said gleefuly.

"I-I think you misunderstood! I-It was just-"

"Sneaking out of the house to meet your girlfriend?" She said raising her eyebrows.

"I-it was a friendly kiss. We just met. It would be stupid if we got to that part too soon." (Y/n) said. I was relieved and sad at the same time for some reason. Then I remembered she said 'too soon'. I blushed a deep crimson.

"Okay! Just remember to call Officer Mabel! If you catch them on the spot. You know who to call!" Mabel and Waddles suddenly got into a pose.

"Love Patrol!"

We all laughed and I realized I haven't really introduced (Y/n) yet and I remembered the real reason I was here in the first place.

"(Y/n) needs a place to stay, right?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh r-right!" She stuttered.

"Wow, Dip n' Dots... I never knew you guys took it to that level." Mabel said innocently.

"What?! No!" We both said a the same time. Mabel squealed.

"You guys are too cute!" She exclamied and brought out a camera.

"Mabel approves!"

"Hey, um, Mabel?" Ford asked.

"Yes, Grunkle Ford?" She asked.

"So, you guys can have girlfriends and boyfriends at the age of thirteen?" He asked. We just blushed harder.

"According to them it is legal!" Mabel said matter of factly.

"Oh, okay..."

"No they are not!" Grunkle Stan said. Which surprised us all. We forgot that he was there.

"But Grunkle Stan they are so cute!" Mabel begged.

"Nope it is illegal!" Stan declared. I breathe a sigh of relief.

"See Mabel! Grunkle Stan says-"

"It's America! Everything is legal kids! So have fun and don't sleep in the same room with different genders!" He said dragging Ford with him.

"W-what," I said.

"Just" (Y/n) continued.

"Happened?!" We both chorused. That only made her crazier.

"Too cute!" She fainted.

"You have a very weird family, Dip." (Y/n) said.

"Thanks." I said and she smiled at me. I laced my fingers around hers.

"Well let's enjoy this peace and quiet."

We walked towards the Mystery Shack hand in hand. We didn't notice someone watching us.

"Just wait Pines... Just wait she'll be mine."
