Chapter 19

"Nicholas! Won't you stop it.? It's annoying. I am pregnant, it's not like I were disable" I roared, shooting him Superman's laser beam with my eyes .
Ever since the pregnant news, Nic has been clingy much to my annoyance. He doesn't even let me walk down or up the stairs. He always carries me up and down the stairs and doesn't go to his office. That ain't necessary. That doesn't mean he stops working. He works from home. Literally never leaving my sides. That kind of gesture is kind of cute and annoying at the same times.

"I know. I'm just so worried." He says in sad tone.
I have no idea why he was more emotional than a pregnant woman.
He smiles I smile. If he were sad , I felt the same.

I hugged him.
"It's ok. Nic. I love it when you care about my wellbeing. " I smile
"You know you are more emotional than me"
he chuckles

I want to tell him about the guy at the toilet. He keep on sending me threaten message such as
I'm going to make you mine

You can't leave me

He sent his last message last night. I don't know what he is planning.
Is he going to hurt Nic?

"Rebecca?"
"Rebecca ?"

"Hmm?"

"You have been zoned out"

"Sorry. Something is nagging me alive." I said in small smile.
"Nic ,I want to tell something."

"You have all my ears" he replied.

"Nic, let me tell you , I'm not as Saint as you thought. I once have "
Cut off by a ring.
"Answer it"

"No"
*ring*

"Ok I once have broke"
*ring

"Sorry , I have to answer it."
"Hello, Nicholas's speaking."

I need to tell him for our safety. I wonder if my ex were psychotic. I dare not think about what will he think and do after that.

"Honey, I have to go. The office needs me. It's emergency"

"Oh"

"Talk to you later. I will listen to you all night. You have me and my body all night"  he says and winks at me and kiss me on lips and then forehead.
I blush and give him smile.

"I will make dinner" Nicholas loves my cooking even though I m not good at it. I mean my cooking skill isn't bad, I can assure that. I'm sure my food has a bowl of love there.

I am making a banana bread roll for dessert. I am flattening the bread slice,
*the bed's getting cold your not here* my phone rings.
I wash my hand and dab it with towel.
"Hello, Mrs.Starling's speaking"

"Hello, it's emergency. Mr.starling gets into accident and is hospitalized at City hospital."

I am so shocked. My hands are trembling.
"I ..I'll  be on my way"

I run to garage. I jump to my red Lambogani, not caring the fact that I m pregnant. I mean , I m only in my first trimester. The baby bump ain't even visible. I call Nic phone to know his condition from the one beside him or the one who report that Nic has got into accident.

I drive to City hospital. I park my car, and rush out of it. Just as I rush out of my car,my phone rings. I stand beside it and take my phone to answer. It is from Nic!
"Nic!"
i was dragged from my behind. My phone dropped from the floor. I can't shout because his hand shutting my mouth. I try to struggle in run away. But no use.

"You are mine , don't you dare run away from me again"
And the darkness overwhelmed me.

Nicholas Starling's POV

"How the hell did the information slip out ?"

"Sir, our system is hacked. We are finding out who is behind it."

*ring* *ring* *ring*
I turn off without looking at it. I don't want to answer it.
"Who?"

"He ain't from other company, he just comes from other country. Recently. "
"We don't know what is his purpose" my male assistant mumbles. He show me the one who break to my system. He looks oddly familiar. Who is he ? What have I done to him ?

This man is .......
Yes, the guy I met at the park with Rebecca. The guy who looks at my wife is so much emotions.
Rebecca!

I turn on my phone and saw miss calls from my wife. I call her, she answer..
"Rebecca!"
"Nic!" She exclaimed. I heard her phone dropped. After minute , I heard a male voice,
"You are mine , don't you dare run away from me again"

I turns to my assistant.
"Find her!."

I have been pacing in my office . After five minutes, I found out she was at Bancrak hospital. I hop to my car and drive to the hospital, praying for her safety.

I shouldn't leave her alone. I should be staying by her side.

The speedometer is reaching 100km per hr. I don't care if I was fund for that. All I care is my Rebeccca!

I reach to City hospital and go to parking lot and I find her red Lambogani. I rush to it, only to find her phone with cracked screen.
I am almost broke down. My wife who is caring my baby. My love-line. My life

I take my phone from my suit and call my buddy, Rick Wilson.
"Rick, I need your help"
