Staring at the ceiling, Ant heard his brothers snores quietly next to him. The toddler, around 4, had crawled into bed with him, and there was no way getting him out without him screaming. His dad would not appreciate a crying kid at 3 in the morning. Ant shifted so he was at least further away, but felt the toddler move to curl up next to him.

It wasn't that he hated his brothers. Sure he acted like it, but he couldn't get attached to them. He knew their future, or a few outcomes of them. Non of them ended nicely. Ant couldn't interfere without the possibility of making the outcomes worse than they already were.

Moving again, Ant felt the edge of the bed, now having no where else to go. He sighed heavily, feeling the toddler once again move closer. He could get up and leave, but the toddler would follow him. The nether was an option, Sky wasn't allowed there after following Ant and almost getting exploded to bits by a ghast. Well, Sparkles blamed the Ghast.
